  • Excellent quality espresso machine that has quickly become one of our favorite appliances.
Excellent quality espresso machine that has quickly become one of our favorite appliances. My wife and I are huge coffee fans and both enjoy strong coffee, so we wanted a great quality espresso machine that was easy to use and not overly complicated since this is our first espresso machine. We already own several AIRMSEN appliances, including a juicer and standard coffee maker, and we've always been extremely happy with their products, so ordering this AIRMSEN Espresso Machine with Grinder was pretty much a no brainer for us. We've now been using this machine every day for the past week, primarily making Americanos and double espressos, and we absolutely love it. It was easy to set up, heats up very fast, and the touchscreen controls are simple and easy to use. We've tried all of the functions on our machine, and everything has worked flawlessly. Most importantly, it makes a fantastic strong cup of coffee that both of us truly enjoy every day. The steam wand also works extremely well, and we've been able to make nice creamy, thick foam to top off our Americanos. The built-in grinder is convenient, has multiple grind settings, and works well, although we already own a dedicated burr grinder that we prefer to use for our beans. I also really like the warming tray on top. It keeps the first Americano warm while I'm making the second one, which is a small feature that we've found to be very useful. Pros: - Very high quality and feels like a premium appliance - Attractive stainless steel design looks great on our coffee stand - Easy to set up and very easy to use - Heats up very quickly - Makes excellent strong espresso and Americanos - Steam wand works great for making thick creamy foam - Built-in grinder is convenient and works well - Touchscreen controls are simple and responsive - Warming tray is surprisingly useful - Large removable water tank is easy to fill and clean - Comes complete with single and double baskets, tamper, and the accessories needed to get started - Versatile with several different brewing options - Cleanup is super easy and takes very little time - Has worked flawlessly with daily use Cons: - We haven't found anything we dislike about this espresso machine; it has worked flawlessly for us so far Overall: We couldn't be happier with this AIRMSEN Espresso Machine with Grinder. After running it through its paces every day for the past week, it has worked flawlessly and has been much easier to use than we expected for our first espresso machine. It feels durable and very well made, looks like a premium appliance and, most importantly, makes fantastic strong coffee. We've had excellent experiences with every AIRMSEN appliance we've owned, and this espresso machine continues that trend. My wife and I truly love this espresso machine, and it's quickly become something we use every day. Easy 5 out of 5 stars for us, and we highly recommend this machine to our friends. ... show more

  • Value-priced espresso machine with a lot of functions
This is a good value for someone who wants an espresso m machine but doesn’t have the money to buy an expensive one. It offers a lot for the cost. For someone who is hesitant to get an espresso machine, or someone who has decided to experiment with one, this is a very good choice. It is by no means a professional-level machine or even comparable to an expensive home unit but it isn’t priced like any of those either. This is an attractive-looking machine, stainless steel and a colorful touchscreen LED screen. The screen icons would be better if they were larger. However, with continued use of this machine, it becomes second nature as to what icon you need to press for a specific function. It’s fairly compact compared to other machines I’ve seen and doesn’t take a lot of counter space. For the functions, this I an all-in-one machine. You can use ground coffee or grind beans in it so you don’t need a separate grinder. There are different grinds settings on the machine too, ten different settings. You can grind beans for a single, double, or custom amount. It has a steam wand/milk frother for when you make cappuccino, lattes, and macchiatos. You can make a single or double shot espresso or even a custom amount. You can make a regular American style coffee. The different custom settings allow for many options. There is some learning curve with this machine, as there would be for any other espresso machine. How to tamper the grinds properly and froth take a little learning. I’m not a coffee drinker but my wife is. Both of us have quickly learned how to use this machine. The portafilter does take some force to attach, but it’s no problem for ether myself or my wife. The water heats up very quickly and my wife is very happy with the taste of her espressos. Be aware that unlike a regular coffee maker machine, this may require a little more maintenance than those machines do. If it isn’t going to be used for a few days, run some water through on either the single or double-shot settings with an empty portafilter attached. Also, the steam wand has to be cleaned after using it to froth milk. Obviously, there isn’t a lot of extra maintenance but it is a bit more than what someone who has only used a regular coffee maker machine is used to. Overall, this is a very good machine to introduce someone to making their own espresso without spending a lot of money. It’s simple to set up, is attractive-looking, and requires only. Little counter space. ... show more

  • GREAT STARTER ESPRESSO MACHINE WITHOUT THE PREMIUM PRICE
The AIRMSEN 1350W espresso machine is a good introductory machine for anyone wanting to get into making espresso at home without immediately spending several hundred dollars. For some perspective, we're coming from an $800 Ninja espresso machine in our home, so comparing the two directly wouldn't exactly be fair. The Ninja feels more refined, as you'd expect at that price. However, I think the AIRMSEN offers better VALUE for what you're paying and gives beginners plenty to experiment with. Pros: + Built-in grinder with 10 grind settings gives you some control over how fine you want your beans. + Comes with an attached steam wand for frothing milk and making drinks like lattes and cappuccinos. + Makes both espresso and Americano, including single and double cup options. + LED/touch display makes the machine fairly straightforward to operate. + 20-bar pressure system and 1350W heating system provide plenty of capability for an entry-level machine. + Includes both single and double filters, tamper, powder ring, and other accessories to get started. + Removable drip tray makes cleaning a little easier. + At roughly 9.1" wide, it doesn't take up an unreasonable amount of counter space for a machine with a built-in grinder. + Overall, very beginner friendly. You don't need to be a coffee expert to start experimenting with it. Cons: - Cleanup afterward can be a little tedious, but honestly, that's pretty common with espresso machines. - Some customers have reported concerns about long-term durability after a few months. Mine has worked great so far, and there is a warranty, but longevity is something I'll be watching. This one is tough to rate. The AIRMSEN has some nice features for the money, including the attached steamer, LED display, built-in grinder with multiple settings, and espresso/Americano brewing options. Perhaps the overall build quality could be a tad better, but expecting it to compete directly with machines costing several times more isn't reasonable either. Overall, this is a SOLID beginner espresso machine. If you're just getting into making espresso at home and want something with plenty of features without immediately jumping into the premium price range, the AIRMSEN is worth considering. ... show more

  • A Coffee Lover's Setup Without Needing Two Separate Machines
Listen, I take my coffee seriously. If I'm going to make espresso at home, I want more than a machine that looks pretty sitting on the counter. I want something that gives me control over the process. What I like about this AIRMSEN machine is that it combines an espresso maker with a built-in burr grinder. Having the grinder incorporated into the machine makes the setup more convenient because I don't need two separate appliances taking up counter space. The steam wand is another feature I appreciate because I enjoy making different coffee drinks instead of drinking the same thing every day. I also like the versatility of being able to prepare espresso-based drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos. One thing I always pay attention to with espresso machines is the relationship between grind size, coffee dose, and extraction time. Those details make a much bigger difference in the final cup than simply looking at the advertised pressure rating. This is the type of machine that makes sense for someone who enjoys experimenting with coffee and wants more control than a basic pod machine offers. I like having the grinder and espresso-making functions together in one setup. ... show more

  • Great for beginners!
We are a pretty coffee-heavy household, and we used to make coffee by the pot in our old Ninja coffee maker that we no longer use. Espresso machines have been on our radar for a while because it's something we've been wanting to experiment with for a while. We just never justified getting it until now. Espresso in general is not our usual at all, but you can still make some great coffee with Espresso shots! So that's what our goal was with this machine. It's pretty self-explanatory. It comes with a manual/guide that shows you how to use the machines and the components. This is not a pod machine! This is for freshly ground coffee, which is great because it comes with a coffee bean grinder on the top. Additionally, it also has a milk frother. Just be careful of the steam because it is really hot! I think the milk frother is the best addition because it's better than using the weak battery powered hand held frothers, for some reason those don't hold a lot of power. The steam from this milk frother will make it much easier to have hot milk to pour into your coffee, perhaps for a caffe latte or just simply a fancier hot milk with coffee and milk foam. My sister recently purchased a set of Espresso cups, so now we have a reason to use them more often due to receiving this Espresso machine. If you like really strong coffee instead of watered down coffee, this is most likely for you! I also really like the visuals or what type of action you need, the photos including the name of the buttons is a nice touch. Again, just be careful with the steam and milk frother, other than that I think it's a fairly straight forward and nice machine to have in house for coffee lovers! ... show more

  • Awesome inexpensive espresso maker!
I absolutely love my new espresso machine. This thing puts out bistro grade java right on my counter, and doesn't cost as much as my friend's fancy Italian countertop Rancilio. The built in grinder is such a nice touch, although I wouldn't have cared since I have one - just makes the process streamlined and perfectly dosed every time. It comes with a single and a double basket for the handle. Can be a little messy and you definitely want to use the magnetic ring they give you to funnel the grind into the basket, but there's a method to it that's easy to get into. It has settings 1-10, 5 is just perfect like they said. Just make sure to wash your pieces like they say before first use, and then prime it and let it run a cycle with no coffee before your first cup. Way faster than any other morning coffee, by far. It heats up super fast. Literally rinsed basket, press grind, and dispensing god's juice in about 1-2 mins max. I absolutely hate Keurigs except in an emergency, so this is a much welcome addition to my kitchen. Bye bye old percolator! The touch screen on it is responsive, looks nice, isn't complicated at all, and has several common options. Haven't used the milk steamer yet, but supposedly it works well. Everything is easy to use, works really fast, and produces amazing espresso. Couldn't be happier, highly recommend at the price point. There are much nicer units than this, but good machines are pricey or downright inaccessibly expensive, so this is great. ... show more

  • Impressive machine with a lot packed into a small footprint
I'm genuinely impressed with the quality of this espresso machine, especially considering how many functions are packed into a relatively small footprint. It's not fully automatic — you still need to grind the beans and insert the grounds for brewing — but it includes the grinder, steamer, and brewing functions all in one machine. Once I figured out the various options, it was surprisingly easy to use. The touchscreen is intuitive and responsive, and I haven't had to fight with it to get where I want to go. The pressure seems good, and the espresso comes out with a nice flavor and a good amount of crema. The grinder is capable of going very fine. I've been using a setting around 3–4 with medium-roast beans, and that combination has consistently produced a smooth brew without the bitterness I've experienced with some machines. I've tried the regular single and double espresso settings as well as Americanos and the cold extraction espresso option. The cold extraction feature is probably my favorite surprise because it produces a really good cold espresso without the bitter taste I was expecting. That's a genuinely useful option rather than just another button added to the machine to make the feature list look longer. The machine isn't particularly loud either, which is nice for early-morning coffee making when the rest of the house is still asleep. The large water tank is another big plus because I don't have to constantly refill it. I also really like the power-saving sleep mode — the machine doesn't have to be completely shut down, and the display simply dims while it goes into a lower-power state. For everything it does, the footprint is impressively small. It isn't a push-one-button-and-walk-away superautomatic machine, but if you don't mind doing the grinding and setup yourself, this gives you a lot of control and a surprisingly capable espresso setup without taking over the counter. ... show more

  • Makes A Perfect Cup Of Coffee
I am new to expresso machines, after many years of using a single-serve pod coffee maker. I purchased the Airmsen BCM2316 hoping for a noticeably better cup of coffee. With its built-in burr grinder, milk frother and steam wand, it really looks like a complete all-in-one setup.. After rinsing and drying the individual parts, the initial setup was very easy. The instruction manual is clear and well written. I ran the recommended rinse cycle to flush the water lines and steam wand, though it took me a moment to realize the variable steam control needed to be moved off the zero setting for the wand to clear, even though the manual says to start at zero. Once everything was flushed, I made my first cup. I don't have any beans yet to test the burr grinder, so I used the same ground coffee I've been using in my pod machine. I selected the Americano setting, and the machine produced a cup quickly. The flavor was noticeably deeper and richer than what I've been getting from my single-serve maker. I appreciate that all coffee programming settings are adjustable. With the removable tray, I'm using a full size mug for my Americano, so the pour settings can be adjusted up to 90 seconds to fill the mug completely. Overall, I'm very happy so far, but a few things stood out: 1. A rubber mat would help reduce the slight vibration and noise. 2. The lid on the water container feels a bit flimsy and seems like it could snap while open. 3. A pocket or pouch for storing the accessories would be useful. 4. The brew icons could be brighter and larger for easier visibility. The stainless steel design looks sharp and the machine stands out on my counter. ... show more
