Super cute triangular shaped "fireplace"/heater. I am using in my 5th wheel using 110 plug into 12 volt system. It puts out nice heat, and it gives nice heat and ambiance in the popout section of our 5th wheel trailer. It is not hot-to-the-touch. You only get the heat from the front where the heater is projecting the heat. As you may or may not be able to see in the photo, it is sitting on a towel, (so as not to scratch the wooden table it is sitting on). No portion that it touches is hot. Not the towel, not the table, not the wall behind it. It seems very safe, and has an automatic shutoff, should it get knocked over by kids or pets. I really, really like it. Of course I would have preferred a giant sized fire place, but I'm in limited space, so this is perfect for my needs. Ready to use right out of the box. I totally recommend this item if you are in a smaller space or need the 12volt capability for a heater. It also comes with a remote and has different heat and flame settings to choose from. Remote doesn’t work . Otherwise it’s beautiful . I’m going to see if I can contact the company and have a new remote sent out versus sending the whole product back which is a hassle for one piece. Will update review once contacted. Otherwise it works perfectly for the space I wanted it for and is very unique. Haven’t ever seen anything like it. Haven’t tried the heat output but that’s not what I want it for . I want it for looks only. So won’t be using the heat effect. ... show more

I have been searching for a fireplace insert and was nervous about purchasing this, considering there was only one review. With that being said, I am 100% satisfied with this product. It fits perfectly in my fireplace and the flames look realistic with different color options.As for the heater, I cannot comment on the heater part, considering I will not be using that feature.
