This airflow attachment is a great alternative to using a traditional flat iron because you get similar results without the harsh heat damage. It fits perfectly on my Dyson base; you just need to make sure you select the correct version size for your specific multi-styler model. It is important to note that it is not going to give you pin-straight hair like a high-heat flat iron would, but that is totally fine with me because it also won't fry or dry out your hair. I am very happy with the smooth, natural straight results it delivers.

I was very intrigued by this attachment, as I have never seen it before. I currently own both the airstrait and the airwrap - but find myself reaching for the airwrap out of ease and convenience. The airstrait works well, but is bulky and heavy, so I was hopeful that this attachment might be more convenient. It attaches well, but is a bit wobbly. It works as expected, but you do need to apply pressure manually to get a sleeker result since there is no lock. The attachment works by concentrating the heat in a downward flow - drying and straightening at the same time. The final look is a more natural straight style (not as sleek as a flat iron), so I finish up by curling the ends with a different airwrap attachment. Overall, it works well enough for drying and I can easily use the same dryer with different attachments to finish the look, which makes it convenient. I would recommend giving this a try.

This Airflow straightening attachment is a great addition to your Airwrap tool arsenal— if your expectations aren’t too high. This tool will not straighten your air like a traditional flat iron. But I think the trade-off of having healthier hair is far better. If you have a lot of breakage or new hair growth, this attachment can leave those pieces a little frizzy. But if you have the smoothing attachment, it does a good job at laying those hairs down to lessen the frizziness of shorter hairs. I have pretty wavy hair, so this tool has been awesome at getting my hair straight with minimum overall frizz vs drying it normally with the Dyson or letting it air dry. It does take longer to dry/straighten it this way. But like I mentioned before, I think it’s worth it. My hair feels a lot healthier and softer after using this attachment vs my traditional flat iron. And I don’t feel like I’m stuck only just curling with my Airwrap. This attachment is a phenomenal bargain too. I’m actually shocked that Dyson doesn’t have a similar attachment that I can purchase separately to add to my Airwrap. Nope— I can only buy a whole new straightening system for the low price of $500. So, this a great purchase for my Airwrap without breaking the bank. Overall, this is a great tool to have if you like to wear your hair straight sometimes vs just curling with the Airwrap. It’s well-made, fit perfectly on my Airwrap, and does a great overall job at straightening my hair without the heat damage of a flat iron. Great attachment to have!

I really like this attachment for my Airwrap. It was very easy to put together and clicked into place without any hassle. The size is small and compact, which makes it simple to carry when traveling or just storing at home. I have only had it for three days, and so far it works quite well. It helps smooth my hair while drying, and the result looks natural instead of flat. I also feel more comfortable using it since it relies on air rather than extreme heat.
