The side rails are rather heavy, which is good, solid construction. However, they are not easy to attach to the bed, not rocket science, but awkward. I wanted them for the foot area of the bed, but they make it difficult to care for pt in the bed.

Does not work on a standard hospital bed! The pieces that secure the rails to the outside cannot be used in between the springs as shown. I tried every way possible but no success. You would have to actually cut the springs to attach these. Since the bed doesn’t belong to me, I did not want to deform it just for some rails.

Well, it took a while, I am grateful for the final outcome of this company. This bedra did not fit on my father‘s bed who lives in assisted-living, and after many trials and tribulations, and trying to figure out what to do, the company has offered a refund.
