Fits well in the room. Great maneuverability of the light. The base is quite heavy and not easy to tip. Using for photography lighting. Cannot change the bulbs, which is why it lost a star. I hope this lasts many years.

As far as floor lamps go, this is a nice piece. It's not particularly flashy, but the black sleek design fits in with most modern aesthetics. The head is on a flexible hose that can be positioned in any direction, making it a great lamp for reading, or for hobbies like puzzle building or model making. The multiple settings for brightness and intensity of light are great, and the remote is a nice touch if you put it in a harder to access spot, and don't have it connected to a light switch. I am a total fan of unique lamps that offer great light, & this is one of those lights! I was totally surprised when the package showed up, & it was so small, when I was expecting a floor lamp. I was expecting a much larger box, since I expected that I wouldn't need to put the lamp together myself. However, putting this lamp together was super easy (& relaxing for me, as wel as really satisfying to be able to put it together myself). The quality of light output is excellent, & I love the remote. I really like the fact that you can control the lamp by the controls on the lamp itself, or you can use the remote. I was quite surprised to find out that the remote is magnetic, & can either be stored by sticking it to the lamp pole, or any other magnetic surface. The gooseneck is easily adjusted with one hand, so that you can always have the light right where you want it. ... show more
