I cant speak for the others that where $199 to $299 but what I can say is for $500 this Rovair PCP air compressor is amazing and super quiet and it’s works. I was expecting it to be loud like some of the other brands of compressors I have seen on YouTube. Also the customer support is there if you should ever need it. I purchased this product to charge my pcp air rifle. My air rifle holds a maximum of 3600 psi and from empty this pump filled the tank in approximately eight minutes. Fill from 2000 psi only took about 4 minutes. I was expecting the compressor to be very loud. I was impressed with the low volume of the unit.     • Seems to be a great unit - but not what I thought it was
I did not read far enough into this to understand this was not a replacement for my garage air compressor - but rather a specialized unit for air guns. If that is what you are looking for, this seems to be a really great unit.

Compressor worked as directed. It’s not very loud and it’s portable. Only time will tell if it’s worth $500. I strongly recommend buying the warranty offered by amazon. If they can’t fix it they’ll replace it. Well at least that’s what they say
