The media could not be loaded. This design seems to be very good thus far. I live in south texas where the humidity level is very high, and this was within 3 hours of plugging it in. It seems to work very well and the noise level is extremely minimal. I did feel some heat coming out of the side, but not a huge amount.

The media could not be loaded. Very quiet. As others have stated, the lights don't seem to match the manual. I wonder if the on light and full light are reversed. I have not run it to full because it would take forever. I got this thinking it would help with a bathroom that lacks an exhaust fan but it is just not strong enough for that scenario, although I expected it would perform a little better than it did. I've run this under different conditions. In an open air kitchen where the humidity was 53%, it ran for about 8h and under a centimeter of water accumulated in the bin. This is to be expected since it wasn't super humid. I've also used it as I intended, in a very humid small bathroom before, during, and after a hot shower, with the door closed, it removed a little more water in the same period of time. After a couple hours I checked on it and the room felt just as humid as it had been so I gave up on keeping the door closed and opened the door but kept it running.

This is not your best dehumidifier if you’re planning on pulling gallons of water a day. It may not even control the humidity in the room. It does retain water and I dump about 2-3 cups a day compared to the gallon I get in my larger unit. Very quiet for its size but I’m not sure if it’s worth the money for its efficiency. Very cool looking and futuristic.

This is a Vine review on a product that I received free in exchange for my honest evaluation. I was really looking forward to this product, so it was especially disappointing that it is not as good as I had hoped it would be. It is light weight but that also makes it feel cheap and flimsy. The "On" light never comes on but the "full" and "air purge" lights are always on. While it is not grossly loud, quiet is not the first word that comes to mind. Definitely not quiet enough to sleep through unless you are a deep sleeper. Power cord is quite short and that means it will probably wind up on the floor near an outlet. Ran this unit for hours and never had the lights change from the initial power up and the "On" light stayed off throughout. Ran it for several hours with no indication that it was removing any water. Ran it with door open to the bath while 2 showers were taken, and it did get a small amount of water in the reservoir. I had really expected more, but I did not get it. I personally would not buy this again nor would I recommend it for anyone else to purchase.

Unfortunately, our master bathroom doesn't have a vent so we use dehumidifiers in there just to keep the moisture away. Before installing this, the average humidity in the bathroom was about 65%. After installation, we never see anything over 50% even after the hottest, most steamiest showers/baths. This thing works well. Originally we were using the bin but decided that we could just use the provided drain hose so we dont have to worry about it again.

current humidity in the room is 63%. ambient temp is 74.1F. I turned this on and there are 3 lights on the front. Full is lit up green, I wish the full light would stay off and only turn red when the water tank is full. Air purge light is on blue. And the most strange the ON light is not lit at all. I am letting this run for an hour to see what happens. after 1 hour I have 74.4F and 62% humidity. The water tank has a bit of water in it. after 2 hours I have 75F and 61% humidity. It's warmer outside, 77F, so that could be another reason that the temp inside is increasing. But the dehumidifier is putting out slighty warmer air. after 3 hours I have 75.2F and 59% humidity. Even though the lights seem weird, it works.
