I don't have a "JL7", but what I DO have, is an Aufero 2, which doesn't come with air assist, but comes ready to upgrade to air assist with an air assist nozzle included with the engraver, which is really nice. I originally got another air assist unit to use with my Aufero 2, but it came without a power supply, and though I just got a power supply for it as well, I decided to use my other air assist on my Ender 3 Pro that I'm converting to a laser engraver instead, and I'll use the Woxcker on my Aufero 2, which it seems well suited for, as the Aufero 2 is only a 5 watt engraver, so the Woxcker air assist will give me plenty of overhead. If you've never used an air assist on your laser cutter / engraver, and are wondering, "Why? What does it actually do?" That's easy, it does several things for your laser engraver, ALL of them good, and NONE of them bad (aside from using 25 more watts...uh oh). 1. It will keep your laser head running cooler, allowing it to last longer and run more efficiently. 2. It will keep every part of your laser assembly cleaner. 3. It will reduce the scorching of your cuts and engravings by about 85%. 4. It will increase the maximum cut depth your machine is capable of by 20-25%. 5. It will result in finer, cleaner cuts. 6. It will increase the speeds at which your machine can work, often significantly. In short, there really is no reason NOT to use air assist on your laser cutter / engraver. If your machine doesn't have this feature, first check and see if it came with a nozzle for it, if not, make sure you can change the nozzle on your laser (most are changeable) and if so, you're good because this comes with a nozzle that SHOULD fit your laser. If not, you have to order an air assist nozzle that fits your specific laser, and they're pretty cheap. This is, by far, your #1 upgrade to your laser cutter / engraver. If you experience any issues, before you upgrade to a more powerful laser, you should upgrade to air assist FIRST. Air assist will make a 5 watt machine run like a 10 watt machine, it's worth every penny of the investment. This comes with everything you need, including a power supply (yay!). It's a really solidly built little unit, with an all aluminum shell and only the tiniest bits of plastic here and there, like the switch knob and the air barb. Nice thick rubber feet, too, which helps dampen the vibes a lot. In no uncertain terms, I absolutely recommend this as an upgrade to your laser cutter / engraver. You'll be 100% glad you did on your very first cut. For the money, it's a very decent buy, especially considering everything you need is included.

I'm super new to using a laser, as is probably obvious from my photos, but this has made a huge difference in the quality of what I've been making. The first picture of the materials test is both with and without the air assist on--the top one is from when I first got my Creality Falcon 10w, and the bottom of that materials test sheet is with the air assist. What a difference! Because this isn't made for my machine I had to do some...creative rigging...to get it to work but I'm quite pleased with the function. I used the wire tie pieces that came with it to make a loop to hold the end of the tubing so that it blows across the work and kind of approximates the way it would if I'd been able to use the nozzle thing that came with the kit. (Photo with the blue painters tape) It's not exactly quiet, but I like that I can adjust the strength of the air. The middle photo is a living hinge test card, and the air assist quit partway through. It was 100% my fault--I moved the plug where I had this plugged in so that I could plug in my laptop, and I didn't notice that the power plug wasn't in far enough and it wasn't running. Pretty obvious where it was running and where it wasn't! If you have the machine this is made for I'd absolutely recommend you buy this. If you don't have the machine it's made for, I'd still recommend getting it, just be prepared to get creative.

I have had this for about a month and used a handful of times. It no longer works. Not sure if I received a defective product but it is saying im out of time to return for refund. Would not buy. Cannot get in touch with Woxcker for my 1 year warranty. Left several emails.

The pump unit build quality seems good, although the power supply seems very cheap and the connector does not mate as well as I would like to the air pump unit. The volume of this unit when it is turned up all the way is a little louder than I would like but the air stream seems consistent and as advertised.
