This is, without question, the best notebook I have ever purchased. These are made by a small family business, and they clearly put their heart into their products. There are so many "journals" out there, many with gimmicks, sayings, fancy pages, etc...however this simple, yet highly functional notebook is much, much better than any of the fancy ones I've seen or purchased, and believe me, I've used more than I can count. The high page count is spectacular, the fact that it is college ruled is perfect. The spirals are double and very, very strong, the pages are thick and smooth and a pleasure to write on. There is a place on each page to indicate the day of the week, the weather, the date, and a "memo number" that can be used as needed. The cover is strong, high quality, soft and elegant looking. In short, this notebook is absolutely spectacular and I would recommend it to EVERYONE!

This “notebook” is so much more than that! The front end back covers are sturdy, and the gold corner edges are solid, adhered evenly and thoroughly. The pages are thick, with plenty of writing area, and they glide smoothly over the binder rings. The pockets inside the front and back are well made, and a nice .. and practical .. touch. The elastic band on the rear is thick, well placed, and sturdy. The included index tabs are perfect for creating your own sections.. or not! The choice is yours, and I like that. They’ve even included a lovely thank you note inside the notebook when you open it up, after removing it from the protective cellophane wrapper. I actually think that this beautifully designed and crafted item far exceeds the name “notebook”! I’m very happy with this purchase.

I brought two of these notebooks, as a result of wanting something more classy in comparison to the typical college rule notebook. On the surface, it ticked all of the boxes when I decided to make the purchase. It was hardcover, had the page count I was looking for, and asethical pleasing. It wasn't long after receiving them before I realized they weren't for me. Here are the pros and cons based on my own opinion. For transparency, I am an avid writer and notetaker so I'm a bit picker when it comes to stationery. Pros: . It's a thick book with 300 pages, and there is a lot of room for writing. . Basic markers like tom bow, midliners, and liner pens don't bleed through . The gold detailing on the cover and spiral make these notebooks so cute. . There's a pocket in the front and back for goodies. .Comes with tabs Cons My biggest con is the paper! . The paper is to thick, making it great for using multiple mediums but, changing the writing experience. .The heading space in way to small . I really dislike the (time, weather, and date slots) at the top of the pages ) to me which automatically renders this notebook as a suitable journal as it takes away page customization. All of these cons may not be a big deal to everyone and for those who can live with them. These notebooks are great. However, if you are an avid writer, who enjoys the experience of writing and value creativity in customizing your work you might want to reconsider.

I purchased this book for work as I take a lot of notes when conducting interviews and investigations. First I love that it’s a spiral so I’m not awkwardly trying to hold the book open while I write. The paper is thick so the words do not bleed through. I also love that each page has spots to write the date and memo (I use this to title what the page is about) which really helps me to refer back to my notes. It also has a lot of pages so I will get good use out of this notebook!

I'm someone who never writes reviews & am obsessed with journals. This one is great. Quality paper (bleeds a little if you use a sharpie or more felt pen like I do sometimes when I draw in it). A little sticky in the spiral for a second but can tell it's gonna ease up. Feels hefty, good.
