We purchased two of these cameras for our daughters for our trip to Hawaii since we would be snorkling. I was worried my 14 year old would not like them, but she was really happy with them. The picture quality was better than we expected. Not professional quality, but good enough for our liking. They were relatively easier to figure out (My Gen X self struggled a bit more than my Gen Z daughter in setting it up). There are cute frames that can be added to the pictures, and can capture both video or photos. The videos were OK, but not sure if that was user error or not. They will be the perfect camera to bring to sleepaway camp as well, since cell phones aren't allowed. ... show more

My son loves his camera. We got it for him as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, though, the case is great until it's not. The clasp unfortunately broke which can happen with a five-year-olds curiosity, they open it, take it out, put it back in & repeat. Well, the clasp broke off after a certain amount of opening & closing and has been MIA ever since. Regardless of the broken clasp, this camera can certainly handle being tossed around and dropped by a clumsy five-year-old even without a case. Which is impressive! Only negative issue I've had with the camera is repeating which buttons to use on the camera, but he's five and I don't mind repeating myself. Now if you find yourself as someone who gets easily annoyed with repeating themselves or losing pieces to a case AND not being able to buy a replacement clasp, I'd opt for the cheaper version that it just the camera. Otherwise, I'd definitely buy again in the future for someone else's child. ... show more

Gifted this for Christmas to a 15 month old. They are learning to press the buttons and enjoy doing so. But definitely frustrating if they turn it on then off. They can't understand to not press the same button not to turn it off lol so anywho it has great features, filters like firefighter, palm trees, mustache etc. Super cute. Kiddo does likes to see the pics of familiar items like their toys, parents, animal. I would recommend although we have hidden it for now. The frustration of not knowing what buttons to press & how to use causes kiddo to cry a lot. So we'll bring it back out later lol ... show more
