Many forums online say galaxy s22 wont work. Dji specs list galaxy s20 and s21 as compatible. Not the s22. I called dji. They acknowledged there had been some issues but assured me returning would not be a problem if needed. Also they said download the dji fly app and if it opens I should be good. Made the purchase and app loads and opens and takes stills and videos. Flys like a champ. IMO this is your best money for under 1000. I shopped the mini 3 pro and this has more protection against crashing. Nice machine. No question of quality. Expensive toy and need more time to play. Very nice purchase. Would recommend. Debated dji direct or best buy and went with Amazon. No regrets. It's 50 dollars cheaper than mine and I got a deal. You can't pass the current 799 price up. Better than a mini by far. Far better. The media could not be loaded. Not sure if the video will come through good for a review but it truly is good quality. It’s not grainy or pixelated…. I wanted a drone to record what we do farming and I’ve been super happy with this one. I’ve never flown a drone before so I watched YouTube videos about this drone and was glad I did!! There were some super helpful YT vids out there. I’m not a gamer either so getting used to the controls was a bit of a challenge but have figured it out fast. I think if U play video games, flying drones and figuring out the controller would be a cinch. I did not pay the extra for the “fly more combo” but trust me, you want it!!! Battery life is only 15-20 min flying time. I’ve since bought a case and 2 batteries..And if you ignore the low battery warning and keep flying, it will land itself where ever IT’S at. When it warns u battery is low, just bring it home. I’ve almost lost it ignoring that feature. The fly home button has always worked for me. The moving gimbal is a must! It’s built well, no cheap plastic. It does not come with an sd card. So you’ll want one ((the gold ones)) I have an iPhone that works and paired great with it, but it will only internally store about 3 min. Maybe it could more and I haven’t figured that out yet so I just bought an sd card and it’s been awesome. ... show more

Before receiving my part 107 license I mainly flew the DJI mini brand, while great in their own way, the air 2S is excellent for greater video quality and speed, this thing is incredibly fast and cover long distances in a short amount of time. Also, love the upward obstacle avoidance, something that the newer mini 3 Pro is strangely lacking. With its similarity in price to the mini 3 Pro I would choose this, unless the content needed was more for Tictok or vertical images, which is also a pretty cool feature for the mini 3 Pro. I think I just like this one a bit more. It does not get as hot flying and does a lot better in windy conditions. ... show more

I do professional Photography and have 2 other drones already. I was hesitant, but bought it anyway after some research and comparisons. One of the selling points was the High Resolution and a 1” CMOS lens which is twice the size as the others and a 3 axis gimbal. The instructions are ridiculous so you need first hand knowledge on flying drones. You also need the highest speed Micro SD card that you can get or your videos will be choppy. You have to change on screen all the settings you want it to have when it is powered up and ready to fly. I still haven’t figured everything out yet. But the Images and Videos are amazing. Fly to home works well also. I flew it well out of sight and there is a sight map showing flight path and which direction to come home. My opinion, it is a nice mid size drone that functions well. ... show more

Update Dec 18: Wish I would have gone with Skydio. DJI is awful. Why I need to spend extra $300 and break my warranty to fly as I want to fly??? Skydio can do that, with same imagine quality and better tracking. Update July 12: Today this drone failed again. I’ve update the app itself, tested home, was working fine. Took it into the field and adter flying for 90sec the drone started landing in the middle of nothing because the zone wasnt unlocked. But I could not unlock it. I managed to bring down safe and after 10 mind I figured out I need to re validate my phone number before unlocking after installing the update. Also reseted my all other settings too. Since it can be on for 30 min, spending 10 min with figuring this out left me with 15min flying time. Totally unreliable. Range btw is more like 500 ft vs 5-6 miles (everywhere I tried). In open field w no trees or obstacles can go max 700 ft. Amazing engineering embeded in an awful product. Biggest $1000 mistake I ever made. You can legally own machine gun in U.S. however this drone decides in it's own where can I fly and I cannot on what altitude. The "FlySafe" feature works a little too aggressive regarding where can I fly and where can I not which makes in many cases very expensive paper weight. Too many limitations, too features that you cannot disable (e.g. annoying beeping of the controller or warning sounds - I have eyes to see on screen if there is a danger I don't need 100 db loud beeps. Auto exposure on this is also a hit or miss. Otherwise nice drone, great picture and video quality. Be aware that for 10 bit D LOG or HLG H.256 you need a beast machine to work with. My Macbook Pro really struggles decoding it real time in Final Cut. I am still debating if I am going to keep it or not. Also it drops connection w aircraft from 5 bars to nothing without interm notifications. I am not sure whats the hype around this. ... show more

Took this out to the Mojave desert for a film shoot. Did not disappoint. DJI has it down, pat. Batteries don't last very long (I used 4 in the span of an hour) so buy a lot of batteries! (live and learn with only 4) Pictures are solid, controls are easy to use and YouTube has lots of tutorials. Like anything NEW, it takes time to get the hang of things (like following somone at a certain pace) but everything we shot looks great. ... show more
