I decided to get one for my wife as a gift for our anniversary because a friend of ours has one and he absolutely loves it and I couldn’t believe the video & image quality, all the features, and just how small and portable it is! The problem that I ran into was that I figured I’d save a bit of money and get one that had been returned. It was labeled “Used-Good Condition” but when it arrived, both screens flickered but never actually turned on and it was missing the battery door! I wasn’t thrilled considering our anniversary was a few days away but I returned it and had it credited to my gift card balance to put towards another one. This time I thought, “If I get one that’s “Used-Like New Condition”, surely it will be fine!”. It wasn’t fine. The screens worked this time around and it was in great condition but it wouldn’t stay on for than 5 seconds no matter if you had it plug in, had a fully charged battery, etc.! I bought this camera for my car dashboard. I wasn’t looking for much, but once I started discovering the features it offers I was amazed. The only thing that upset me is its shooting resolutions settings. I still haven’t figured out the best settings yet but it’s doing the job for sure. It’s very small inside which makes it really handy. Need to buy memory card separate and buy some extra batteries as well because the battery runs for one or two hour only depending on uses. The HERO9’s video quality is nothing short of amazing. Shooting in 5K, I was able to capture the minute details of my mountain biking adventures with exceptional clarity. The image stabilization is a game-changer - it kept the footage smooth despite the rough terrain. Photos are equally impressive, thanks to the 20MP sensor. The colors are vivid, and the dynamic range is quite expansive, making for some professional-looking shots. The dual-screen setup is a highlight. The front-facing LCD is a godsend for framing shots when you're in selfie mode or vlogging. The rear touch screen is bright and responsive. However, I did notice that it can be a challenge to use with wet hands or when wearing gloves, which isn't ideal for an action camera. On the downside, the user interface didn’t meet my expectations. For newcomers to GoPro, the learning curve can be steep. The settings are extensive, which is great for customization but can be overwhelming.
