Excited first time 360 degree camera user

This camera changed the method of filming. I always caught myself behind the camera lens instead of in front of the camera lens missing the action or just basically not being in any footage. This changed the whole method as I now just hold the camera in front of me and its if I have a personal camera crew following me. I donāt have to spend so much time behind the camera and focusing on what I want to film and not to mention I am in the actual footage now as well. This has brought a whole new light to being able to enjoy where you are instead of spending so much time on trying to capture it all behind the camera and missing things at times. Post editing allows you to rotate and focus on the key points of your footage. Do not get discouraged with the post production editing as the Free insta360 application is very helpful in pulling out creative shots and there are tools and tips for everything. It will seem challenging at first but I guarantee the more you fool around with it and watch some how to videos you will be breezing through your editing and be back to enjoying the whole experience of 360 degree photography. There are many 360 degree camera on the market but insta360 one X2 has been around and keeps improving with every revision. This camera has a small footprint and has all the pluses you would want with removable batteries and storage as well as a small LCD screen to check on media or change settings. Quick access button on the side to press and jump right into recording the action. Works well with picking up 360 degree audio as well. Solid premium feel in hand with nice grip, no cheap feeling. Comes with a protective pouch as well to protect that every so delicate lenses but I would suggest the other thicker silicone lens guard that the company sells. The footage and overall experience I have had with the camera combined with the software has led me to not look towards competitors. I just look forward to the next revisions as itās amazing on the new innovative things they come up with to make your video recording even better. If you are in the market for a 360 degree camera, there is no need to look around more as I cant see you having any complaints with this camera as it hits all the check marks for a camera in this market.

Got this for my husband he absolutely loves it for the price I personally feel like it should have better quality he uses it to record him self drive but he loves it I plan to get him a newer one but like I said I feel like for as much as it is it should have a better view but it does should pretty well I will come back at a later time and upload a video for you guys he has a piece on the back that he puts the camera on so itās a pretty amazing camera not gonna lie Iād buy it again

I used 360 cameras a lot - hear me out!

Iāve used all types of 360 cameras and the ONEX2 is definitely becoming my favorite. What makes this different from the ONEX is that the ONEX2 is water proof, has a grippy casing, and is able to use the AI features. Compared to the ONE R, it has a more simplistic design which I prefer for a 360 camera. Also the 360 stitching is better because of the design, it wonāt move or budge compared to the ONE R when using their selfie stick. The quality is awesome, when I compare to other brands nothing stands out from one another but thatās where the pricing and additional features come into play for this camera. Itās just too convenient. Quality can also drop depending where you post, social apps tend to lower quality a little, just a heads up if you see some videos and question the quality. I saw a review about this not being waterproof which is totally false. They mustāve not close the coverings correctly or dived too deep. The box even comes with an instructions manual regarding the waterproofing. AI features, these are fun things to try out, makes making content easy and gives you some creative direction! The Battery life is way better than itās older model. However I suggest taking shorter videos to not drain your battery all at once. This is what I do so Iāve never actually considered if the battery life was good or bad because it always was good. Also taking long videos can be a pain to edit. The app is easy to use and you can make cool edits with it ALL FROM YOUR PHONE. Shameless plug but see some of my videos on IG @t4tien. Every 360 video Iāve edited has used their app on my phone! Last, if youāre getting this camera you need to get the invisible selfie stick. It automatically stitches out, I assume you know that since youāre looking at 360 cameras but itās a must have. ENJOY!!

Really Good Camera

I got the camera used for around $200. I thought it would be old and low quality, but everything from the camera quality to the metal feel of the camera feels brand new. The size is perfect as it fits comfortably in your hand. Just make sure you buy an SD card when you get this camera, as you will need it. Really good value for the money. Also, really convenient to charge because it has a long lasting battery charged with USB C.

Improved in some ways but not in all

This is now the third insta360 I've had. I had the original, then the onex, now this. I will mostly be compring it to the onex, since it is made to be the replacement for that. I REALLY like the usable screen on this camera. I can actually get the functions I need and see useful previews. The form factor is a little bigger than the previous, but close enough to call it negligible. It's a heavy little unit, but sturdy. Battery life is really good. I did 4 20 racing sessions and it outlasted them all. I do use it windsurfing and it hasn't leaked yet. The bad stuff: They say quicker wireless transfer, but that's not true in any way. It's still basically unusable for editing my longer videos unless I download them first. I might look to purchase the cable instead, and I'm not sure why they can't just include that. Maybe if you are on;y taking 2 minte videos it works, but mine are usually 15-30 minutes long, and it really bogs down. No option to automatically cut videos in to shorter sections the software can actually handle. the edge stitching leaves a lot to desire. Finally, the flat output video is still pretty low quality, especially if you try to zoom in to frame a certain thing. I was hoping for a 4k flat output from a 360 capture. Nope. Still good, would still recommend.

BEWARE - Insta360 DOES NOT SUPPORT CUSTOMERS - I bought 3

WARNING WARNING WARNING .... DO NOT BUY AN INSTA360 One X2 BE WARNED --- I bought THREE (3) Insta360 One X2 cameras. --- BE WARNED The first two were defective within a couple weeks and thankfully I bought them through Amazon Prime and was able to return them. The 3rd one worked well for the most part but the 1-cent plastic cover that protects the charging port is easily lost. Without it, the camera is not waterproof. The double lens camera MUST have lenses protected but the available lens covers are crap. Imagine having a very nice 35-mm camera lens and putting a piece of plastic wrap over it. ....exactly! ... The Insta360 One X2 has serious overheating problems. The micro-SD storage card fits immediately next to the battery and the camera is mostly battery. The battery gets quite hot and if you're using it in hot summer weather ... trust me, the camera has trouble storing the nice video you just made. ... If you want to use the available remote, as I did, you'll find it works for about 2-weeks before it simply quits. Did I mention they charged $36.00 for shipping an item what weights about 3-ounces? ... Not a problem you say? Simply press the button on the body of the camera you say? That does work!!! Well, it works for about 2 weeks ... ohhh, as long as it's not too hot outside, which heats up the battery. ... You think you want a better microphone and buy the available jack that fits into the charging port ... forget it. Does NOT work. The microphones on the camera itself work but not well and only if you're in a quite room, i.e. outside - forget it. ... Not a problem you think, huh? Insta360 will support their product you believe, huh? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Three months after I first contacted Insta360 to try to get them to send me a 1-cent charging port cover, after at least a dozen emails, after they ask me to make a video of the problem to send to them (really!), I'm still waiting. Trying to get a replacement or refund for the defective remote and audio adapter ... same story. They want me to send them a video showing them the problem. They don't work. What video am I to make and send. I could go on with the issues I've had with Insta360 but what's the point? I've wasted enough time on Insta360. I haven't tried the 360 GoPro but no way could it be a worse experience than with Insta360. If Insta360 was a Canadian, or EU, or US company, they'd be out of business. WARNING WARNING WARNING .... DO NOT BUY AN INSTA360 One X2

Best 360 camera in the market

I am excited to have this new 360 camera! It gives you high quality videos, super slow motion, amazing HDR photos. I love the quick capture button, since i am mostly filming parkour and action videos. Its so practical to press a button and start recording within seconds. I already own the ONE R dual lens which is also as amazing as the X2. I believe X2 gives u the same quality but better colors. I love the fact that is portable, fits in my pocket and i can literally have it on me whenever I go out and shoot anything i need. The app gets more and more updates very often and gives u always new tricks and themes to create, which are great for social media stories and or posts. Selfie sticks of course disappears, and u can reframe in the editing, which makes it easy to go and and film yourself. It also has many accessories to choose from, like the long stick, or the bullet cord which boosts your creativity to the max. Lastly I am glad to be part of the insta360 community using their app, sharing my videos, winning contests and getting so many rewards to use in the insta360 store. I recommend this camera to anyone experienced or not! so easy to use!
