I wouldn’t recommend this to cool a room in the summer or very hot day. The air flow is strictly linear despite the rotation feature. I think this would be a good alternative for a moderately warm place. Also it requires a lot of water that you need to refill about every 2hrs if the room is hot. Not worth it sorry ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First of all, it is NOT an Air Conditioner, and you never expect it to function as efficiently as an AC! It just blows cool evaporative air into your room. It is perfect for my converted garage when the temperature is not that hot enough to turn on the AC but uncomfortable to stay. It is nice to have humidified cool air breeze through the room, especially for those who have dry skin like me. This product does have its flaws. There is no indication of the amount of water in the tank and I am not sure what the damage could be if it continues running without water. The fan noise is also loud, even when in sleep mode. However these are just nitpicking and the product doesn't have important flaws. Overall, If you are looking for a product to cool down a room efficiently, this product isn't it. It's more of a fan blowing cool air, and can also humidify a room than an air conditioner. ... show more

I live in an RV and purchased this unit as a back-up in the event my main AC was to go out and to run it during the evening/night hours instead of the AC . Received it today and it was 105! I have no illusions about this unit being an "air conditioner" but am pleasantly surprised at the cool air it produces. Was able to shut off my RV AC for brief periods and run this and it really did well. ... show more

The cooling air mode is not as cool as I would have liked. Product is light and easy to move around. The cool air mode feels like an ordinary fan and that is not what I was hoping for. Hearing the water movement is a little annoying because it sounds like water is leaking and that is an annoying sound to hear when I'm trying to sleep. One ⭐ for air output. This cooling fan was what we needed when our ac went out it was cost effective and helpful it uses water and ice packs (included) to cool the air. The only flaw would be how cool it cooled off but I live in Texas so that may be personal I thought it would cool the air more but it did do everything promised ... show more

    • A glorified fan.
I bought this for our RV in hopes of working together with the factory ac’s to reduce the stress on our ac’s in hot climates. It didn’t come w/ any cooling blocks as stated. I added some of my own and it did nothing. It’s essentially a big expensive fan on wheels.

Need to make sure ice packs are fully frozen and only cools down room slightly. Definitely not as strong as an air conditioner
