My wife uses this exclusively and she loves it for one main reason. It’s lightweight. My mother gave us a similar one a few years ago and totally empty it weighed 24 lbs! My wife has to haul around a bunch of stuff a few days a week for hula dance classes and shows (including Bose speakers which are not light). The last thing she needs is a heavy cart to haul in and out of the back of her SUV. This not only is light (description says it weighs 12 lbs. but when I weigh it with my luggage scale, it’s a little over 10 lbs.) but seems sturdy enough for what we need. Plus, it can easily compress into the size of a bigger chair cushion. Not sure how it would do over sand with the smaller wheels, especially if loaded.     • States it can handle 300 pound payload. It DOES
After unboxing this cart, the first thing I noticed was that instead of a scissors style bottom, this cart has welded bars. I read that it is rated to hold and haul up to 300 pounds so decided to test it. I filled 6 5 gallon buckets with water, for a total of 240 pounds and placed them on a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood I had cut to fit the dimensions of the cart, and went back and forth around the yard without noticing any issues with teh frame or being able to pull the cart. Then I climbed in, sat on the plywood bottom and had my 14 year old nephew pull me around the yard. Seems to have worked without issue and was easy to start pulling. Here on the farm, this cart works almost every day to haul things around, from feed to water to garden soil. I have yet to test or use the included fabric cart basket as for my needs a simple piece of plywood is all I have needed. ... show more
