I use to have the basic sink snake which was just the metal coil line. Was a real pain to use and I got rid of it years ago. Fast forward to now, I got this for the kitchen sink. The flow just got stuck and it took over 30mins to drain. The main selling point was that I can attach my electric drill and power through the gunk buildup a lot faster. I was contemplating on either the 25 or 35 foot version, I don't remember the length of the one I got rid of. Luckily the blockage was around the first 10 feet. Well made, sturdy and a bit heavy. It has the manual hand crank if you don't have a drill or able to just use arm strength to break through the blockage. It also comes with a pair of black rubberized work gloves. I didn't take pictures because this was an immediate use project item. I need to hit it with the pressure washer to clean it up. I'm very happy with the results and how I can pack this back into it's own carrying case for storage.

It’s not a huge bulky snake very manageable, if needed you can use a drill great for snaking out washing machine drain traps and the likes.

Best $45 I have ever spent. I have struggled with a clog in my bathroom sink for ages. Nothing worked and i tried every trick in the book to get it unclogged but with no luck. This was my last hail mary before calling a plumber. It worked perfectly and was super easy to use, especially with the drill attachment. With in 10 minutes I could hear it draining. I did dump a pot of boiling water down after just in case and it all drained down perfect. I let the faucet run for a few minutes and it drained better than ever. Super happy with this purchase 10/10 would recommend. By the way I have zero experience with maintenance things around the house and I do not consider myself the least bit "handy" and even I got this task taken care of with ease!

Gloves and carry bag are cheaply made. The auger works great though. Drill attachment is nice although no attachments can be placed onto the snake end. It did the job and always good to have one in the garage.

After viewing more YouTube videos about clogged toilets, I should have purchased the manual snake. This auger did not work for my problem and did scratch the toilet. I attached the drill, and still did not have success.
