This gel makes my hair look and feel great. It leaves my hair feeling sleek and soft, without any greasy feel. And it did a great job helping me define my curls. My son used it and it did work very well and didn't flake out turn white it get gummy or gross at all. It held up and worked very nicely. However, if you're sensitive to smells at all it is VERY strong. It's not a bad smell, just very strong. Idk why brands all seen to do that with hair products - like if you're the type that likes wearing strong scents, you probably wear cologne or perfume so why would you want your hair stuff overpowering that 🥴🥴? This is my favorite product to retwist with! It only takes a small amount to slick my roots. It also makes my retwists last longer, in my opinion. This is a great product for retwisting hair. My hair was sleek and the retwist lasted. But after 2-3 weeks my hair had become very itchy to the point it was like quite concerning. I have had my locs for over a year now and my hair has been never been so itchy that I would just sit down for like 5 minutes trying to get my hair to stop itching. No matter how many times I rubbed in some oil to relieve the itchiness it just got worst. When I was finally tired of my hair itching and wanted to rinse out my hair, my hair had so much white build up on my hair down some of my locs. This has never happened to me before. If you have locs you know its harder to remove build up then loose naturals. Overall, this product if u want to do ur edges with a sleek look but do not buy this product or u r going to spend extra time in the shower trying to remove all of it from your hair. ... show more
