This African American blanket is amazing and inspirational not to mention the powerfulness of the truth. It definitely is soft, and I would say it goes beyond that. It goes to a spirituality of understanding what a true moment of color is especially for black women. This throw blanket is a nice size. I do wish it was a little bit longer when it comes down to the capacity but the words alone make me feel like I'm wrapped up in the power of what it means and multiculturally being wrapped up in such a beautiful culture as this makes me feel that much more proud but this is something I would love to give to my daughter and I plan on and hopefully finding some more. It has great quality material, good size, good texture, easy to clean. It's light weight enough yet warmth is still present and breathability! Good value indeed... The washability is really nice. I can take it wherever I want to go. It's comfortable, soft, and it doesn't shed whatsoever and nor does it irritate my skin. It feels like velvet to be honest so thank you so much!

This beautifully done throw blanket is a great gift or comfy reminder to have in your den or living room. The artwork is well done and the stitching as well. I expected it to be a little thicker, but it is nice for different seasons. There are affirmations all over it to remind the "Black Queen" of how much she is beloved. Curling up in it is a joy and so very comfy. The back of it is white and actually I was thinking of it put up on the wall. The size is 50" x 60" and not quite as big as a regular bed blanket. It's so lovely I would not want to put it in the washing machine, but you probably could with cold water so as not to fade the design. Overall, no complaint except the thickness...but that was minor. Recommended: 4****

The color of this product is exactly as shown. The product listing is exactly as described in the product listing. This blanket is a lovely shade of pink/black and is so soft and cuddly. This is not, what I would consider a thick throw blanket. I would consider this as a light weight blanket and it's nice to use in any room. This is nice and cute and it makes a lovely gift. This is a great value for the money.

I have mixed feelings about this blanket. The back side looked grey to me on the site. In person it looks white. I am not a fan of a white throw that can get dirty from snacks. Additionally, the care instructions note to not dry it in a dryer nor dry clean which leaves drying while hanging up. When brushing my hand across the blanket, it is a nice soft blanket. Unfortunately to me, the result of brushing against the grain shows that the blanket design was printed on.

I don’t get too hot under it when napping like I do with other blankets. It’s also a good throw blanket to put on the back of a couch or chair. I think it will make a nice a gift too.
