The AERLANG Shiatsu Back and Neck Massager is a really strong and effective massager. The kneading nodes give a deep tissue massage that works great on my neck, shoulders, and upper back. The heat feature is also nice and helps relax the muscles even more. The only thing I wish it had is a rechargeable battery since it has to stay plugged in while using it. That would make it more convenient. Overall, it works really well and gives a powerful massage, so I’m still giving it five stars. I’ll just get right to the point: Pro: for the low price, it does a great job and can handle quite a bit of pull. For example, I’ll turn it on, put my arms through the side straps and pull down to apply pressure onto my shoulders and neck, and the doesn’t stop or shut down. That’s not to say that you should just yank on it, but for $30 it definitely relieves some of the tension. Con: it’s supposed to come with a heat setting, but it’s a total lie. I honestly didn’t expect to love this massager as much as I do. I spend a lot of time doing things around the house and on my phone, so my neck and upper back are usually very tense. After using this for just a few minutes, I could feel the difference right away. The massage nodes feel strong but still comfortable, almost like a real deep tissue massage. I also love that it reaches both my neck and upper back area, which is where I usually carry the most tension. Another thing I appreciate is how easy it is to use. Just plug it in, place it around your neck or back, and relax. I’ve even used it while watching TV and it makes such a difference after a long day. The quality also surprised me.     • Affordable, but with some risks

Works decently well. Good pressure and heat. Motors are a bit weak and really only seemed to work properly on the highest speed setting. However it was effective for relieving neck pain via heat and massage. Overall it's..."okay". You get the quality you pay for. The biggest issue I have with this massager is the synthetic mesh fabric on the massage area. It's extremely coarse and brittle. This can lead to skin agitation, sores, abrasions, and on one occasion a sliver of the material was embedded into the skin of my neck. The use of something like a t-shirt as a buffer layer was required to prevent those issues. I had to stop using the device entirely when the buffer t-shirt slipped out of the way and over the course of 10min the massager had rubbed my skin completely raw to the point of needing treatment If you just need something cheap then this item should be fine, but do be aware that the low price comes with some compromises.
