I just got it today. So I cannot speak for durability. But what I would like to mention is how easy it is to operate, and what was most important to me is that it is not one that, is actually going to hurt more than relax. I had a shiatsu type back massager before that was way too hard on the neck and any bony part. I could simply not use it without being in pain afterwards. This one has just the right amount of pressure not too mild but not painful. It has the three speeds which is adequate. And if you are one that really likes the harder pressure just lean your neck or shoulders more against the back of a chair or couch and you will feel the pressure deeper. Regarding durability, if I find that it lacks in that area, I will update later on. The only thing that I noticed ( why I gave 4 stars only ) is that I really don’t notice the heat part being on or off. It does light up when on, but I didn’t feel the heat. Overall good for the price.

I absolutely love it. I have a lot of attention in my neck and this is a perfect way to get it out. Most massagers you have to hold your arm up to get it on your neck. And then you end up straining more. This one sits on your neck and you’re able to do do things or just relax while it massages. I love that you can also use it in the car and my favorite part is that it’s heated.

I had neck pain for 6 months. Once the DR said it was my neck mussels and I should get therapy. I went with the neck massager just before going to bed at night and it is much better now. I put it just below my pillow and add a faux fur material over it and it puts me right to sleep. Good thing it turns off after 15 minutes.

If I found it so painful, why did I give it 4 stars? It works well and is simple enough to use. It does “heat up”, but not super warm. You can change the direction of the massagers. I think this is perfect for this type of massage. However, I don’t think I am a fan of this type of massage. I used it for less than 10 minutes and the next day my skin felt like someone had punched me. It didn’t hurt too much whenever I was using it, but the next day it was a different story. I felt like I was beat up by this thing. There are 3 speed levels and it doesn’t seem to get stuck. It’s pretty steady and pushes through those muscles. … a little too much. I gave it to my mom, who initially loved it. Then the next day she told me she hated it and didn’t want it because she also felt the soreness Anyway, not for us. But works great and it’s cheap. So if you’re into this kind of massage, then it’s the perfect price point for what tou get.
