I gave up replacing my whirlpool refrigerator ice maker (3 times). This unit takes up counter space but so far (about 3months) it has produced ice. I collect the ice in a small plastic tub and put it in the freezer. When the next batch dumps I bust up the ice in the tub and put into my fridge ice pan since the dispenser still works and the cubes are small enough to work. But I have to freeze them first and bust them up with a mallet to stay loose. The counter top unit doesn’t keep the cubes frozen. It does have a shut off for low water and ice tray full. However, the power off button only puts it to sleep, I pull the plug to completely shut it down. Now I have to see how long it will continue to produce ice effectively.

It produces the first batch of ice in about six minutes, with cute, clear bullet-shaped cubes that are great for drinks. Wouldn't make ice no matter what I tried

This truly is Whisper-Quiet! I have only made the [SM] size cubes but they are soft enough to crunch, even with my sensitive teeth. My only frustration is that no matter how how I drain the cubes, the freeze all clumped together- I can easily break them apart with a wooden spoon handle

I'm kind of disappointed. The ice melts pretty quickly if you don't empty it out of the canister right away. Its OK in a pinch

The machine works decently. No problem making ice. Easy instructions. One drawback, the ice seems to be wetter than it should be. It makes it difficult to put into bags and freeze without it freezing the bullets together.

Absolutely love this product! Our fridge ice maker broke and we bought this expecting to use it until we got ours fixed. However we love the size of the cubes and the durability and easy to use product so we keep using it.

We’re so satisfied with this ice maker! We’ve always preferred drinking water from our own filter rather than the refrigerator, so we never trusted fridge-made ice either. Now, we can make ice using our filtered water, and it tastes just as good as our drinking water. It produces enough ice quickly, and the noise level is very low. Our only wish is that the unit could be a little lighter, but overall, we really like it!
