The media could not be loaded. I asked the service company we hired to do the assembly and install for a review: My review of the Aecojoy 10x26 Wall Mounted Pergola: After looking at the many reviews of the Aecojoy 10x26 Wall Mounted Pergola I am perplexed as my experience building it is so much different than many of the reviews. There are definitely more cons than pros... Let's start with the cons: It would have been nice to have some specifications for the "footprint of the posts". It would have made squaring up the post locations so much easier. If you are attaching this pergola to your home it would be nice to have the distance between posts in the specifications as well. This would help people with determining if this kit would work for them as most homes have doors and windows. The rear posts need to be attached to a wall for front to back as well as lateral support. This kit needs to be anchored down to either a concrete slab or footings. The instructions call out for "staking". If the kit is to withstand 40-60mph winds as specified in the instructions then bolting it down is mandatory. This kits has lots of parts and how these parts fit together is terrible. The posts come in two pieces and keeping them straight is almost impossible. There is so much flex in all the pieces that it doesn't feel as solid as it should. It took 3 people to assemble this. The pros: It is cheap...
