This was a great find and addition to my back yard for a bbq area. I have it secured to my garage as it was a little shaky and I was not sure it would hold up to the wind. I used the bracket it came with to mount in the middle of the wall side for additional support and to give the long span a very slight rise in the middle. We have had a few major wind events of 70mph+ and I have had no issues with the gazebo structure. I have not had any issue with water leaking at the seams that others had mentioned. You have to make sure it is square to get the top, middle and bottom end caps aligned to fit perfectly together. Between a few 110+ degree days this summer and the outdoor cooking I have not noticed any heat warping of the roof panels. We will see how it does this winter with the 0 to -40f of the northern states. You will need a minimum of two people to assemble and move around.

I purchased four of these AECOJOY wall-mounted gazebos to create a covered patio area across the front and side of the house, and I absolutely love how it turned out. They were easy to install and even easier to combine, which made it simple to customize the layout to fit the space exactly how I wanted. The hard top roof feels sturdy and provides great shade, and once mounted, everything feels solid and secure. Using multiple units together worked really well and created a seamless, finished look rather than feeling pieced together. This was a cost-effective way to get a large shaded area without building a full permanent structure. These are great for decks, patios, and backyard spaces, especially if you want flexibility in design. They look clean and modern and instantly upgraded the outdoor area. Pros: • Easy to install and customize • Combines well with multiple units • Sturdy hard top construction • Great shade coverage • Excellent value, especially on clearance Cons: • Installation is easier with two people • Requires proper wall support for mounting Suggestions for improvement: Including clearer instructions for combining multiple units would be helpful. Offering optional side panels or privacy screens would also be a great upgrade. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase. Being able to customize the patio layout exactly how I wanted made these well worth it, and I would buy them again without hesitation.

It is a nice pergola and does provide some shade but the reason I’m only giving it 3 stars is because 1) on one of the brackets the holes didn’t align properly so we have one bracket loose but that being said the roof panel was still able to slide & hold into place. 2) there wasn’t enough bolts to bolt down into the concrete. There are five posts with each post needing 4 bolts. We only received 6 bolts in total. So I guess for what we paid it’s a good deal. If it hadn’t been for those 2 things I’d be saying it was a great deal.

Cons * Installation may require two people for some steps. * Wall mounting requires careful measuring and proper anchoring. * Not a fully enclosed structure, so wind and rain can still enter from the sides. I bought one of these gazebos for my deck 2 years ago and couldnt be happier. Instructions were adequate and pieces fit together well. I even ordered a 3rd leg for the high end as it could not be installed close enought to the wall of the house due to the door and window trim. It is rated for up to 6" of snow, and we dont ususally get much in Virginia so I bought it. First winter we got snow and I noticed a sag in the middle of the cover. I put a wooden pole in the middle for extra support. Worked fine. The second winter we got a 50 year snow, which was about 12" of heavy Ice and snow. I did not think to support the middle again and the cover collapsed. After considering alternatives, I decided to order another one and use the legs I slavaged from the first on to put an extra support across the middle. I see in the instructions that came with the new gazebo that they offer am adjustable, expandable extra support column. If you think you might get snow, that would be a great investment (No cost listed) I am currently writing to the comcapny to get one part that was missing from the box. But otherwise we have been very happy with the product. Just sad I didnt think to reinforce the cover with middle supports when the heavy sno came. We dont normally get that much snow so I didnt expect it to be so heavy. I believe it would have held up if I had supported it like I did the first year. The company was very helpful in solving any issues with assembly. They will respond if you need to reach out.

We purchased two of these Aecojoy pergolas (each 12x16) to attach to the house on the patio (34x14) beside our pool. I read many reviews. The same brand pergolas are sold at Lowes and Home Depot, as well as other online retailers. So far, we have one pergola up but will wait until the other pergola is up before attaching to the side of the house. At 8', it fits right under the soffit. The instructions are pictures and part labels. A manfriend did the assembly. I helped with the installation. Overall, it looks "nice." Having used popup tents over this area for a few years, it's a big improvement. However, it doesn't provide the same shade as a tent 🙄. Due to the afternoon sun, I have purchased tension rods and outdoor curtains to block the sun on hot days. We will definitely get more use out of my patio now. A center post on the backside should have been provided, especially on the longer length pergolas. It is sagging in the middle and we will add whatever hardware is needed (not included) to support the middle of each pergola on the house side. Also, a middle outside bracket (inner bracket included) would have very very useful on each post both structurally and for looks (see photo). The panels are not difficult to install but a rubber mallet is very helpful with that to ensure each piece locks in. Also, a real drill is absolutely necessary! All together, I'd say we spent 10 hours to install one pergola. The installation of the second pergola will be much easier. Takes two people and a third could be helpful! We plan to use a silicone caulk down the center of both pergolas upon completion. In the event of snow, we plan to add addition supports underneath. I searched the aecojoy website for the availability of replacement panels but found none. Home Depot does sell those panels however. (I may add to my review upon completion. 🤞🏻)

The product itself can be good. But many pieces came dented and scratched. Had to go to Home Depot and replace with my own bolts and screws. Looks great in the dark but during the day the dented pieces are noticable. Wish I didn’t procrastinate. I opened the box after the return window was closed. So I got stuck keeping it

DISCLAIMER: I bought the 10x12 adjustable height option and due to my low roof, to meet the 98" height requirement for setup, I attached the pergola to my roof using roof brackets which I bought separately. This may or may not affect the integrity of the build, though after reading other reviews, I have had shared issues which I will detail below: First, the instructions are not very helpful as others have pointed out. However, if you have built any large IKEA furniture, you will be able to do this project. Take your time, read the directions carefully, and please have someone on standby for install. Second, the two posts look wonky and it was a little bit of a struggle getting the screws to go all the way through the pre-drilled holes. I did have to use a power drill. I constantly am looking at how to keep them straight, but any force can move the posts if you don't have them anchored. Third, the hardest part of the install IMO was the roof panels. I ended up having to cut off about an inch from one of the panels because despite it being fit where it needed to go, it was somehow too long for me to complete the edging. I am just going to try my hardest not to look up anytime I am under the pergola to see the slightly misaligned piece due to this long panel mishap lol. The Pros: This thing was CHEAP compared to all of the other options I was looking at, and to be honest, it is a sturdy, good looking pergola. I live in the PNW and so far it has stood up against heavy rains and a bunch of pine needles from nearby trees. I do notice the drainage system working as the water goes through the product at certain points and the water gets drained at the low end of the roof panels. The main reason we wanted a pergola was to extend our life outside during the rainy season and so far we've been able to do just that.
