I live in the PNW and have been looking at a grilling gazebo for a while. This one is unique compared to the others and I’m happy with it. Did not want a four post enclosure especially the ones with the shelves on the side which is sold as a ‘feature ‘ but are really braces for a flimsy product. Also did not want one where I would attach to the house as I did not want to compromise the siding. For this one, I have a warranty voiding attachment to my deck with angle iron for strength and anchors into my paver patio for stability. Wasn’t going to cut into the siding, wasn’t going to dig up my pavers to pour new footings. A little jury rigged but came out as expected and really like not having the posts in the front, we call it the bus stop. Not sure this would work as well for the 8x8 but seems fine for the 8x5 Thought I might have to anchor the second post with a brace to the foundation but when assembled it’s solid, no sway and has not moved on some fairly windy days. Like that the frame is aluminum, like the lightweight cover, wish the cover channels were also aluminum but overall no complaints. Instructions call for you to anchor the posts first (good luck). I built the frame, used a 2x4 to stand it up, leveled it (has a slope right to left so measured posts distance) then tied it to the deck then anchored the posts with 3/8 red hats which fit in the existing holes. Thought I’d post this for others who might have similar anchoring issues.

Absolutely horrible quality. This thing is a liability, a hazard and a giant problem waiting to happen. The welds on the base plate are cracked. And after one rainstorm it is already rusting in between those cracked welds. It literally can fall over any day now as the side that has the cracked welds is constantly wobbling. The other leg and the rest of the product seems to be to a functional standard. But with a catastrophic failure. As such. I would recommend staying away from this product or brand of products completely. At least until they get their quality control to an acceptable standard. Tried to contact the seller. They were not responsive. I contacted Amazon customer support and they are filing an a to z warranty refund. I guess I will see how that goes. I might just be completely out. The $500 I spent for a 10x10 gazebo that is made out of metal. Should have lasted at least a couple years, not less than a month. Update not even two days after noticing the cracked defective welds and rust spots the whole thing came down. You can see it split at the welds. This is completely defective welds should be the strongest point on the structure. It should not be the failure point. With that being said, I didn't even have this thing up for a month before it completely collapsed. Luckily nobody was underneath it and nobody got hurt. But this definitely could have spelled disaster for somebody. Stay away at all costs.

The directions are not good. They are pictures only. The screws for the roofing material are too long so they come out underneath. We are going to work on trimming them off. It does look good in the area we put it in though!

The Gazebo is of good quality Instructions are not as clear as they can be but it is not diffiuclt to build if you are handy the value is good for this item and it is sturdy Once the shade went up, temps dropped significantly and made it pleasant to be outside.

I looked at various cantilevered carports for a couple of years before finally buying this one. I think this is a good value for the money. The finish is fairly easy to scratch but it looks good right now- we'll see how it holds up over the years. The hardest part about putting this up is drilling the 12 1/2" diameter holes 4" deep in concrete and getting them spaced and aligned right, after that it is fairly straight forward. I put this up by myself over about three days working 4 hours or so per day.

Bought the 8x8. Decent quality for the price. Assembles in a couple of hours. The 8x8 is good for two standard grills at about 5 to 6 feet long each. In my case I have a grill and a flat top and I want to keep them sheltered from the rain. I think the small version of this likely would have worked but just barely. The 8x8 is plenty wide, and deeper than I truly need. This is a two post so it does wiggle a bit. However, due to it being a two post it offers a lot more flexibility as to what you put underneath it and especially anything you might need to move around like grills. The only thing to note-- The concrete anchors that come with this are very cheap - higher quality of the same style can be bought at a hardware store or many other types of concrete anchors could be used to secure this. To install the anchors you will need a 9/16 masonry bit or 9/16 hammer drill bit.
