The media could not be loaded. My curiosity got the best of me and I just had to buy this HEYFUN rooftop tent and it is absolutely amazing. I was concerned about the size but I am 6’ tall and 180 pounds and I lay down comfortably in it. There are lots of pockets on the inside, including a see through pocket for an iPad or tablet. The light strip on the inside is very convenient because now I don’t have to install one. It has USB plugs with an exterior plug to run everything. The only drawback is that it didn’t come with the other end of the plug to plug into it, but that’s minor. I kept the dark rain guard but it’s easily replaceable with the included white one. The awning that is included is bigger than I thought it would be and it’s easily attachable to either side. The rooftop rack is easy to install and will also be very convenient for carrying my kayak. The included shoe pockets are big enough for anything you’ll be wearing on your feet. The ladder easily hooks to either side or the back. This thing is very sturdy, very durable, very comfortable, and will comfortably fit two adults and a child or two. It was easy to install and put the racks on top. The build quality is solid and well thought out, from the durable materials to the smooth zippers and sturdy frame. Setup was straightforward and much quicker than I anticipated, and once deployed, the tent felt extremely stable and secure. Comfort was a big highlight—the mattress was supportive, and there was plenty of space to move around and sleep comfortably. Drove coast to coast with it over the summer.it held up well in the rain. No leaks of any kind and the fly covers enough to leave the windows open for airflow in the rain. The mattress is ok, but there is enough room to add a topper and still close it comfortably. I got a 2" foam mattress topper. The rack was a great inclusion, made it easy to mount a shower. The 8020 slots also make it easy to mount accessories, I mounted the shower curtain directly to the side. I'm not sure why they included 2 rain flies but I'm not complaining, the white one looks better in my opinion. My only complaint is the mounting hardware. Don't use the included bolts and nuts to mount it. They are soft and stripped very easily. ... show more

Wow I was going back and forth with another Amazon budget tent. At the last minute I took a look at this one and decided to go it. Happy that I did. Shipping was fast and the crate was in great shape. No damage to it at all. Packaging was perfect! Opened the tent up and was surprised at the quality. Gas struts are very strong. Very easy to set up. The mattress is nice and thick. I bought camping sleeping pads to put on top and to be honest I might not need them. Zippers are very strong and sturdy, I plan on putting colored coded rope on each on to identify the netting vs the blackout. Love the addition of the Anderson( I think that is what it's called) plug underneath which is not in adverting from what I read or saw from pictures. You can power the USB outlets on the inside with external power if need be. Also has roof rails / crossbars so you can mount on top of the tent. This RTT also came with a side awning. It slides into the bottom rail and has two poles to keep it up. Wouldn't be great in the wind. But with the fact that this is the only budget tent that comes with one I can deal with it. Making our first trip next week for 5 days at the Outer Banks. My wife said last year she didn't want to sleep in a tent on the ground, so here we are. ... show more

Really happy with this tent. I spent a lot of time comparing different tents in all sorts of price ranges and I kept coming back to this one. I really wanted a hard shell and I had minimal clearance in my garage and I wanted an easy assembly. This checked all the boxes plus the added bonus of having a side awning (I haven’t tried that yet). Got it in a huge wooden crate, well protected and wrapped. Not much for assembly other than hoisting it on top of my truck (make sure you’ve got two or maybe three strong peeps) and securing it. I’m really happy with all of the extra features. Great shoe storage bags, plenty of internal storage, LED light strips, inside power strip, good mattress pad and eyebrow window at the entry. Super easy set up. Compared to tents at literally twice the price, this gem was a great buy. I’m super happy this is the one I chose. Only complaint so far is that the zippers could use zipper pulls for easier access, but that was something I had on hand and quickly added. ... show more
