  • Seems Solid and Well Made... Seems Solid and Well Made...
Style: 1000W-48V
Assembly: Luckily, it comes like 98% assembled. Major highlight. I, like many others, hate putting things together, so that was awesome. The overall “feel” of the scooter is good. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. There are some bigger names out there when it comes to similar scooters, but I can’t compare as I have not handled any of them. I’ve owned a different type of scooter (more on that in a minute), but not this particular kind. All I can tell you is that this one does at least appear to be of quality and it’s a safe choice you can bet your money on. The little case included wouldn’t hold much more than a combo lock, your phone, and a wallet, but it’s better than nothing. Performance: There’s a veeeeerrry limited audience for these you guys. Do you live in a metro area? Say, no more than a 2 to 3 mile radius from your target locations? Is the ground nice and flat, meaning you’ll encounter no hills or inclines while riding? If you answered yes to each question, this may be your scooter! Point being, those are the only conditions under which you’ll be happy with this thing. First of all, it doesn’t just go. You’ll need a running start of about 3 to 5 mph to get it going. The manual (which could be a little better) states this. Once going, it does run a considerable speed on the highest level and I find the battery to be sufficient no more than I’ve run it. My anxiety won’t allow me to go anywhere near the 19 mile range round trip, so I can’t speak to that. Sorry, there’s not enough trust in the world. You’re welcome to try it, however. Moving on, you may have heard that question about the hills wrong. Let me elaborate. If there are ANY inclines, big or small, on your commute, you will be walking up them. I’m 175 lbs (45 lbs below the limit and might I say a pretty average weight, especially if you were a guy). It will barely pull me on small inclines without a struggle and almost coming to a complete stop, slowing down to an unacceptable speed. That would be a hindrance if you were headed somewhere on a time crunch. I’d also like to add that some metro areas aren’t as flat as you’d think. I’ve been to New York twice in the past few years and Manhattan has plenty of hills. Value: The value here depends on how much money you have to spend and what you’re looking for. I purchased a commuter scooter with a wide seat back in December that had a much wider deck, a headlight, and a little “trunk” on the back of it for your stuff. I paid less for it than what this cost. It was on sale and even now, I can still get it for around the price of this scooter. It did not need a running start to go, was faster, and slightly better at climbing inclines. It was just heavier and could not easily be carried like this one. The only reason I returned it was that it just wasn’t meant for the terrain on which I’d be riding it. Not to ramble on, but the point here is that it was simply a much better scooter for the price. They’re two different scooter types and target different needs I suppose, but still. It needs to be mentioned you’re your consideration. Overall outlook: Take a hard look at your specific needs. If you’re looking for a lightweight, minimalist scooter to get you short distances quicker than walking and the commute will be fairly flat, this is a good option for you. I’m not going to discourage you from shopping around if you’re on a budget as this one is STEEP for what it is, but I honestly do feel like it is a quality product and would last if taken care of. If you live in an area where you need one of these to get around comfortably and can’t afford Ubers all day, you’d want to invest in one that is dependable. For now, I see no reason to rate this scooter less than 5 stars. ... show more

  • Nice Scooter, Terrible Instructions and Worthless App
Style: 1000W-48V
This E-scooter is nice looking and seems well made. It comes with a charger that has an LED display that is red when the scooter is charging, and turns green when the scooter is fully charged. I have not yet been able to verify whether the battery can match the speed or distance claims made, but since at 225 lbs I am a bit over the recommended 220 lb weight limit of this scooter, I am not one to make a fair test of the battery life or speed. It runs smoothly, brakes nicely, and the digital speed display is clear and easily understood. Assembly was very simple, consisting of attaching the handlebar with 4 included screws, using the included hex key. However, the instructions that came with this scooter were atrocious, clearly written by someone who did not understand the scooter itself, and for whom English was a second language. To mention a couple of examples, the instructions went on for half a page explaining how to inflate the rear tire, but the rear tire is solid rubber and is not inflatable. Yet the instructions also did not identify all of the controls on the handlebar, and I had to experiment to figure out what each control did. Just as frustrating was the app that is supposed to assist with the operation of the scooter. The control panel of the scooter has a QR code to assist in downloading the app. I don't know why the app is required, but it is not even mentioned in the instructions, even though the app is described in glowing terms in the Amazon listing for this scooter. Once I downloaded the app, the app refused to pair with the scooter, so the app was totally worthless and a complete waste of time. It is a shame that the manufacturer failed to invest in legible instructions, or to provide an app that actually does something. ... show more

  • Terrific Scooter - Perfect for Campus, City, and More! Terrific Scooter - Perfect for Campus, City, and More!
Style: 1000W-48V
I have had this scooter for nearly a month, and I can say, with confidence, that I am truly impressed. It is well designed and thought out, well built, with a well-designed and well programmed App that is full of useful features. First of all, it's electric with a 350-watt motor. Plenty of power for 168 lb. me, and the documentation recommends weight up to 220 lbs. It has a powerful disc brake in the rear, which stops me on a dime. There are three speeds AND cruise control available, a headlight, and a tail light, which serves as a brake light. The wheels are solid with fenders and plenty of tread so no flat tire changes to worry about. The platform comes in at 24", and is 6" wide, with plenty of room for your feet. A nifty feature is that it is foldable. You merely unhook the latch in front, fold the control mast down, and attach it to a hook in the rear with the spring clip on the handlebar. Then you can bring it with you, or if going on a trip, put it in your trunk with plenty of room to spare. This feature is terrific, and any time I go downtown to the city I bring it with me to get around and do sightseeing. In addition, there is a 12"x5"x6" waterproof hardshell case for personal items(your own glovebox!), a kickstand, and a warning bell on the handlebar. There is a digital control panel and ON/OFF button on the handlebar step. You long press to turn it on, press the button to shift through 3 gears, as well as a speed indicator and a display of charge left. But to really unlock this scooter's features, there is an APP that you download to your phone by scanning the 3D bar code. Once in the APP, you create a use login ID with the usual email and password, turn on the scooter, and then connect through BLUETOOTH. This in turn gives you an expanded version of the scooter console with the following features: -Bluetooth ON/OFF and Battery Charge Percentage -ON/OFF for headlight -Analog Speedometer dial -1-2-3 gear selection -Riding time, trip odometer, total odometer -Anti-theft console lock -ON/OFF switch -Settings switch Going into the SETTINGS PANEL you have: -USER ID panel -MPH/KPH switch -Tail Light switch -ZERO Start switch -BLUETOOTH Password set -Cruise Control -Gear Speed governor settings -Troubleshooting Status Panel -Factory reset panel to remove the user ID and password. Depending on whether you select ZERO START or NO ZERO START through the APP, you either push the scooter to get going and press the accelerator lever, or press the accelerator lever and off you go. The top speed for each gear is preset in the APP control panel. As long as you hold the accelerator down, you go. Let it up, you coast, and squeeze the brake to stop. Lean to either side to steer. It has snappy, but forgivable, handling. If you can ride a bicycle, you can ride this easily. The three gears come preset to 6MPH-13MPH-16MPH. You can override this through the APP and set the highest speed up to 21MPH. When you reach your desired speed, simply hold the accelerator lever down for 5 seconds and you are in cruise control. There is also a USER MANUAL panel, but that's under construction, and Service Agreement and Privacy policy, but unless you can read KANJI, you'll need to scan it into GOOGLE Translate. I have found the scooter draws little power and fast charges from 0 to 100% in about 3-4 hours with the included AC charger. There is a USER Manual, 1-year warranty information, and an email support address. I am getting about 20 miles on a charge, and by coasting when I can, extend it beyond that. The manufacturer claims it can climb a 15-degree grade, and while I haven't taken this to any mountain range, it has so far handled all of the rises in this part of Florida with ease. OVERALL - I wish I had this when I was a college student. It would have made my life so much easier. This would be great for anyone to take along on vacation or day trips, and great for anyone living in a city or apartment complex, Mobile home, or RV community. I love it, and rank it as a 5-star KEEPER! ... show more

  • Only for flat ground or lightweight adults
Style: 1000W-48V
Basic cheap scooter. It has a good disk brake that holds it going down steep hills, that is a big plus. But it is not able to climb moderate hills with a 190lb adult. It is able to climb moderate and steep hills with a 90-100lb person, but has a steep power drop off with a heavier person going up hill so you have to push it. The headlight and brake light work well, these are good safety features. We could not get it to switch from kph to mph with the buttons, maybe you need to add the app for that. Turning on the headlight was a big confusing from the instructions, you need to double press the 1 button to get the headlight to turn on, which was not made clear in the instructions. The different speed controls work fine, but even on the hightst speed, it's not climbing much of a hill with a normal adult. If they rebranded as a youth-teen scooter it would make more sense, I'd say top weight for decent performance uphill would be 130lb-140. It comes with a nice hardshell wallet/phone carry bag that straps on the bar. It doesn't have any sort of lock ring you could put a lock through. There is a clip on the handlebars we could not figure out, maybe an attachment for some kind of phone holder it didn't come with. It charges well and the interface for the battery charge and on/off is simple enough. I did not find any way to adjust the headlight down to show the road, it looks like it is fixed in place. We also tested it off-road and it could handle moderate grass. ... show more

  • Real Handy Scooter, Works Great Real Handy Scooter, Works Great
Style: 1000W-48V
I've never used a scooter in my life till now. You can pair this with your phone for control, but I don't find that necessary. I just power it on pressing the power button, then quick presses to get the speed you want, basically low, medium, fast and off I go. Double press on the power button turns on the headlight, double press turns it off. Range depends on how fast you go and if you are going uphill. Where I live is pretty flat. I use the low and medium speed settings mostly. The kickstand is very handy also. Everything in my city will get stolen, but because the handle folds down, I can put the whole thing in a shopping cart at the store, shop, put on my backpack and away I go. I dropped my car off at the mechanic today and rode the scooter home. It is a great backup option. My work is 6 miles away so I can take this to work and back on a full charge. The only downside on this is minor. Every bump makes something on the front of the bike make a rattling sound. I will have to narrow that down. Many of the streets here are not smooth so there is a lot of vibration as well. I'm glad I don't have to worry about flat tires as these are solid. If they ever get worn out, I'm not sure how to replace them. Overall, this is a fun and great scooter. Be sure to get a helmet also. I got one with a light on it just for extra safety. ... show more

  • Great ride! Great ride!
Style: 1000W-48V
Awesome game-changer for my daily commute. The scooter boasts an impressive top speed of 19MPH and a long-range battery life of up to 19 miles, making it perfect for getting around town efficiently. The 8.5" solid tires provide a smooth and stable ride, even on rough surfaces. What sets this scooter apart is its safety features. The dual braking system, with EABS and rear wheel disc brakes, ensures quick and reliable stopping. The reflective stickers and headlights add an extra layer of safety for night rides. Plus, it's UL2272 certified, so I feel confident about its overall safety and quality. The kids love it too! The Greevego APP is another fantastic addition. Connecting via Bluetooth, the app allows me to lock the scooter, adjust the speed, and manage other settings easily. It adds a level of convenience that I really appreciate. Storage is a breeze with its lightweight design, weighing only 26 pounds. The included 2L capacity scooter storage bag is a thoughtful touch, providing space for essentials like my phone, water bottle, and charger. Overall, this e-scooter has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, safety, and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient commuting option. ... show more

  • Adequate for flat surfaces Adequate for flat surfaces
Style: 1000W-48V
The Greevego Electric Scooter has most of what anyone would want in an entry level electric scooter. It has a slightly underpowered 350w motor at the rear, rear disc brakes, and solid tires. There's no suspension whatsoever on this scooter. That means that riding over rough payment will be undoubtedly harsh especially with solid tires. Braking performance is adequate and can stop you quite fast after the brakes have been worn in a bit. The deck is relatively large and great for adults of any size. The 350w motor is on the lower end of the spectrum. If you're of a heavier build, you'll find that the scooter will struggle on any grade that's higher than 5%. Larger grade hills will require you to propel the scooter forward with your foot versus throttle only. Additionally, in order to configure certain settings of the scooter, you'll need to download the KCQ app. This will allow you to modify the speed limit, change from kph to mph, and start settings. Another thing to note is here is that there's no key or lockout feature if you leave your scooter unattended. Someone could just hit the start button and ride away. Lastly, I wasn't able to verify if the battery/charger is UL listed. This may be an important to some people when searching for an e scooter. ... show more

  • Very fast and handles cures like a pro!
Style: 1000W-48V
This is one of the best items I’ve gotten on Amazon so far! This electric scooter goes up to 16mph - I tested it myself and it definitely got up to 16mph. It has 3 modes, Eco, Sport, and Drive. In Eco mode, the scooter is more controlled and goes slower. This is good when you are just starting out and learning to ride it and a suitable setting for teens who want to ride it as well. Drive mode lets you go much faster. Then in Sport mode, you can really test the limits of this electric scooter! Although I am not so adventurous, one of my older sons who skateboards rode this scooter like it was a skateboard. I was amazed at what it could do! It turned the corners on a dime, swerved and swayed so smoothly, and the brakes worked without any issues. I love that we can charge it up overnight and it’s ready to ride again in the morning. The digital display also makes this electric scooter an awesome investment. It’s nice to be able to see the battery level, driving mode, and speed all in the same place as you ride. Highly recommended! Stop thinking about it and buy it! Lots of fun!!! ... show more
