I bought this 30-in guitar to use as a travel guitar and to practice blues riffs while sitting on a sofa. The tone of the 3 bottom strings (E A D) is great. The treble strings (G B and high E) did not sound good (for a young child, they would be fine). So I replaced the three top treble strings with treble strings from D'Addario Pro Arte EJ45 Classical strings, and now this small guitar sounds amazing for its size! The action is also low, so very easy and fun to play. I would recommend this 30" guitar.

Update- after being contacted by customer service, they’ve made every complaint I had resolved and went above and beyond to ensure we are happy. My daughter loves her guitar. Is it the highest quality? I’m not educated enough to answer that but for an 8 year old with Taylor Swift dreams, it’s perfect! Looks great, 8 year old with Taylor Swift dreams is loving it, however, it comes with no instructions, no set up guide, I can’t even figure out how to attach the straps or tube for the first time. When you try to go to the website, I get a warning that it is a website known to steal people’s information. Especially concerning when they advertise a month of free lessons on their website.

Perfect for a beginning 7 year old. I was afraid it would be too fragile. But my kid had been strumming it quite often for almost a year with no complaints and no issues. It needs to be tuned rather often, but it comes with a handy tuner. (The pick is a joke. I have never seen one so big in my life!)

I ordered this guitar for my granddaughter and unfortunately it doesn't meet learning specs. The turning keys are very cheap and will not allow the guitar to stay in tune. And this is after allowing the strings to stretch a little. The play action is too high for beginners. If you insist on buying this guitar I would suggest you buying some good replacement tuners and some strings. The strings are junk. The sound of the guitar is decent and would sound a lot better with some good quality strings. Its a good toy as is, but with a little help its better but still not good for learning because of the high string action.

Beautiful guitar. This is definitely for kids. My 9 yr old wanted to take lessons. I didn’t want to spend a ton and she wanted a specific color. While searching on Amazon we found this one. It was perfect. Came with everything she needed. The bag is flimsy. I fully expect that to wear out fast. Since the guitar is so cheap expect to have to tune it regularly if not every time you play. I don’t mind. It’s good practice for her. We are very pleased with the guitar. It’s a perfect starter.

I got this for my 7 year old granddauhter who wants to learn to play guitar. Based on the description of this product, it sounded perfect. If a child is serious about learning to play, this is NOT the guitar to get. It will not stay in tune. I tuned it multiple times in a day for over a week and each time it was out of tune again. Also, when it is tuned, it sounds tinny and cheap. It is more of a toy then an actual guitar. I was very disappointed.
