I have big hands, so i love that the handles are pretty thick. Easy to adjust, no rattling, saves a bunch of space, etc. these are well built. They don’t take up a huge footprint and these feel the closest to a commercial gym dumbbell I’ve found with any type of adjustable I’ve used over the years. These are so much cheaper than most adjustables and they are so much better. Feel like i could drop these and nothing would happen. I’m honestly contemplating buying a second pair i like them so much. My only complaint is that the knurling could be better; it’s not very aggressive, so it can be slightly more challenging to get a good grip. There is enough there, but I’d prefer it if it was more aggressive. Other than that, these are a no brainer. Better than anything you’ll find in this price range.

I recently purchased both the REP QUICKDRAW ADJUSTABLES and the Eisenlinks adjustable dumbbells. Initially, I thought the Eisenlinks would be better for higher poundages, while the REP’s would be more efficient for lower weights. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to change the weight on the Eisenlinks. While it’s not as simple as flicking a few levers, it takes less than 30 seconds to adjust once you’re accustomed to the process. The biggest surprise was how great the Eisenlinks feel and perform. The combination of handle sizing and the compactness of the weights makes them feel better than any fixed dumbbell I’ve ever used. With 45 years of experience working out in various gyms, I have a solid basis for comparison. They feel excellent at all weights, especially above 50 lbs. The handle size is perfect for my medium-sized hands, and they are well-balanced with no jiggling. Although the handle diameter is slightly larger than typical fixed dumbbells, I found it surprisingly comfortable. The knurling is spot on, and the extra width on the handle is a non-issue for most weightlifters. These dumbbells offer a range from 15 lbs to 80 lbs (and can be made even heavier for one-arm rows), feeling identical to fixed dumbbells with perfect balance and no jiggling. They also save a lot of space and cost less than half of a full set of fixed dumbbells. I’m very happy with my choice. There are some great YouTube videos on creating racks to hold the individual plates, which I plan to follow once I get rid of my fixed dumbbells.

Note: At the time I ordered mine it was actually cheaper to order the 50lb pair and two expansion sets to be able to go up to an 80lb pair. Worth checking since it saved me about $80 at the time. I've been using these for about a month 3-4 times per week. And so far they feel incredibly solid. The knurling is nice, not too rough, not too smooth, and I actually like the slightly thicker handles compared to most gym dumbbells. Also, I don't know if they are dropable, but I have horse mats in my home gym and feel more than comfortable dropping these about a foot. Their sturdiness, wide shape and flat end make these great for picking up with your feet for weighted exercises - which is something I was looking for in an adjustable DB. Changing the weights is pretty easy and you get more efficient at it after the first few workouts. I definitely pinched my hand when I first started changing the weights on them (totally my fault for being careless) so its something to watch out for when you are getting used to it. Overall, I'd highly recommend these to someone looking to for a home setup. They provide a ton of flexibility and are a fraction of the price of competitors (Iron Masters). Also, they are actually available!

Good knurling, easy to change weight. Only complaint is that they would be better if the handles were shorter. This would work if the dumbells came with shorter screws for few plates and the longer screws for when using more plates. Overall a very good product and a great value.

As far as adjustable dumbbell sets go, I don't think you can find a better value for the money. The interlocking plates are sturdy and secure, it's quick and easy to adjust to your desired weight, and they feel well-balanced when in use. Everything is metal, so I don't worry about plastic points of failure. My only complaint is having to count plates and do math in my head to remember how much weight I'm putting on each dumbbell, because the base it 10lbs, each screw is 2.5lb, and the plates are either 5 or 2.5lbs. This is more of a me issue than the dumbbells, though.

These weights are as advertised. Solid metal parts. Super smooth use and weight interchange. Feel great in your hand. I was torn between this set of dumbbells and the Northdeer 2.0 dumbbells. I think I made the right choice for two major reasons. 1. Cost: Pound for pound these are cheaper (literally). To get to 50 lb on the North deer adjustable set, you would have to buy at least two additional weight extensions. Making this a much cheaper dumbbell set since it starts at 50 lb already. And the additional weights are cheaper than the other brand for more weight. 2. Size: checking on additional weights won't too much additional length to this weight set. However with the north deer set, all the additional weight would add significant length since the weights are smaller in circumference but fatter. To get to 50 lb the north deer set would be almost a foot and a half long. This is not even a foot at 50 lb. If you want to go to a higher weight it doesn't add much additional length onto this dumbbell set. The north deer set would be at like 2 ft which is unreasonable for a dumbbell and would put a lot of stress on the initial weight. Not an issue with this dumbbell. This is designed for heavier lifters.

Great value for the price and feels extremely sturdy. Only minor complaint is knurling can be more aggressive and sharper but overall everything is great! Size wise the plates are on the bigger side but the square design is pretty useful when chaing plates!
