  • [ Versatile Mounting Options ] - The CVLIFE Red Dot Sight fits the Doctor cut footprint or Doctor mounting plates (also fits Venom/Fastfire footprints). It comes with an adapter for RMR and Glock MOS (Note: not compatible with Glock 43, 43X, or 48) and a 21mm Picatinny adapter, ensuring it fits a variety of devices, making it a versatile option for you.
  • [ Lightning-Lock 6 MOA Red Dot ] - The CVLIFE WolfCovert Reflex Sight features a combat-grade 6 MOA red dot with advanced optical coating technology, improving center dot sharpness by 40%. The crystal-clear illumination ensures sharp outlines in both low-light environments and bright glare, enabling quick and instinctive acquisition of your focus point during close-quarters engagements.
  • [ Integrated Fiber ] - The design of the red dot scope with integrated fiber optics which align with the front sight to form a front and rear sight alignment system, eliminates the need to remove iron sight system for red dot mounting, providing an additional sense of security. The fiber optics also help locate the red dot more easily, enabling quicker alignment and more precise point locking.

  • High quality but motion activated ‘wake’ function did not work for me
Color: Red Dot
The sight came well packaged in a heavy duty nest style box with a custom, high-density foam insert. This high quality packaging makes it perfect for gifting and ensures protection during shipping or storage, with separate compartments for all of the components, tools, hardware, instructions, and accessories. First off, the sight comes with a rubberized silicone cover that is great for protection while mounted (or otherwise). The sight itself comes pre-drilled and tapped for a Docter style mount. This is mis-labeled in the instructions and listing as “Doctor“ with an O instead of an E, but it is the same native mount originally developed by, and therefore named after, the manufacturer, “Docter”, which was later purchased by Noblex. Anyway, this mounting standard is widely used, and I like that they used this as the standard for their sight. Besides the Picatinny mount which comes pre-attached, a mounting plate is also included for hard mounting to Glock MOS and RMR. This is a super cool feature because, in my opinion, it is always better to hard mount optics (even with a plate) when you can, even considering the reliability of Picatinny. I also like the variety of different screw lengths that come in the kit to accommodate a wide variety of mounting situations. Battery installation was pretty easy using the provided torx head wrench. I do tend to prefer, however, battery compartment covers that can be opened by a coin or other more common tools. I guess that if you have a spare battery at all, you will have access to your torx tool. Speaking of which, I also really like that they included a spare CR 1632 battery. Those types of little details impress me. I absolutely love red dot sights in general, especially on handheld arms. I have trained myself over the years to aim pistols with my left eye, even though I am right eye dominant, so that I can keep both eyes open for target acquisition and situational awareness while aiming with my left with my right eye blocked by the bridge of my nose. That being said, I absolutely love that a red dot sight reveals itself to whichever eye fixates on it (lines up with it). The sight is easily powered on/off with a long press of either the “+” or “-“ button, which normally controls the brightness setting. The illumination is controlled with these buttons, and this even includes two super-dim night vision settings, which I greatly appreciate. My only complaint about the sight is that it never seemed to “time out” and go into the motion activated sleep mode, which is supposed to work at 4 minutes according to the instructions. This is a pretty big deal for me. I want this sight to be on and ready to go when drawn for operation but dormant otherwise. I am not sure if I was doing something wrong, but in going over the basic operations in the manual, I don’t think I was. Each battery does have 500 hours of life according to the specs, but I hate burning battery power in a semi continuous EDC setting. My preference would be for the sight to be inactive facing down, but activate when raised past 45° or maybe even 30°. I left the sight in a stationary position with no movement, facing down (not holstered), for over half an hour before giving up on the sleep function. I have to assume that I am missing something in the set up, I guess. Of course, the sight also includes the ubiquitous zeroing screws, which can be adjusted using the included tool. Finally, another feature that I rather like, is the two fiber optic rods mounted in the rear which aid in target acquisition. All in all, I would remove 1/2 of a star if I could, for the movement wake up feature problems, but the sight is so good otherwise that I could not bring myself to knock the review all the way down to a four so here we are. ... show more

  • CVLIFE WolfCovert appears to live up to its features and offers value for its price point.
Color: Green Dot
As a participant in the Vine program, I recently had the opportunity to test the CVLIFE WolfCovert Motion Awake 6 MOA Red/Green Dot Sight. CVLIFE is a brand I've had positive experiences with in the past, and I was eager to see how this optic performed. **Overall Impression:** The CVLIFE WolfCovert appears to live up to its advertised features and offers excellent value for its price point. It's a versatile red/green dot sight packed with useful features, making it a great option for those looking to upgrade their optic. **Key Positives:** * **Versatile Compatibility:** The included adapters for Doctor cut, RMR, Glock MOS, and 21mm Picatinny rails are a huge plus. This makes it easy to mount on a wide range of pistols and platforms, ensuring compatibility without needing to purchase additional accessories. *Note: It's important to remember the listing's disclaimer that it's not compatible with Glock 43, 43X, or 48.* * **Clear & Sharp Dot:** The 6 MOA green dot is clear and easy to acquire, even in varying lighting conditions. According to the listing, the advanced optical coating technology improves dot sharpness by 40%, and based on my initial use, this seems accurate. The dot is crisp and well-defined. * **Integrated Fiber Optics:** The integration of fiber optics is a clever design feature. Providing a front and rear sight alignment system offers an added layer of redundancy and peace of mind. It also aids in quickly acquiring the green dot, making target acquisition faster and more intuitive. * **Motion Awake Feature:** The motion-activated auto-sleep mode is a fantastic battery-saving feature. The 4-minute inactivity timer is well-judged, and the immediate return to the last brightness setting is seamless. This significantly contributes to extending battery life. * **Great Price:** The listing mentions the 'great price', and that certainly seems to be the case. It offers a lot of features and compatibility at a very competitive price point. **Things to Consider (Potential Improvements):** * **Long-Term Durability:** While the sight feels well-built, I haven't had it long enough to assess its long-term durability under heavy use or adverse conditions. Only time will tell how it holds up. * **Brightness Settings:** It would be helpful to have more adjustability in the brightness settings to fine-tune the dot to suit different environments. **Final Thoughts:** For its indicated price, the CVLIFE WolfCovert Motion Awake 6 MOA Red/Green Dot Sight is a compelling option. Its versatility, clear dot, and user-friendly features make it a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their pistol or other compatible platform. The integrated fiber optics and motion-awake feature are welcome additions that enhance its overall functionality. If you're looking for a feature-rich reflex sight without breaking the bank, the CVLIFE WolfCovert is definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Setting Pins for RXM Don't Fit the Corner Holes
Color: Red Dot
Everything was there that needed to be there. Dot worked and was nice. I actually legitimately liked the fiber optic co-witness sights on the back. Unfortunately, had to send it back - the setting pins that came with the Ruger RXM are too big for the holes on the bottom of the optic (the four corners), so I wasn't able to mount it. I'm actually concerned about ordering a different optic from CVLife for fear of the same issue occurring. ... show more
