The strap length is perfect for my nine-year-old daughter, and somehow the zippers have held up great—no issues with them falling off, which is impressive. The material is really durable, though I will say the light color makes it a bit tricky to keep clean, especially since my daughter is as messy and tough on her things as any boy I know. Despite that, the bag fits all her books, papers, assignments, and more without a problem. She even easily fits her pens and pencils in the front pocket. When it’s empty, it’s nice and light, but it can carry a surprising amount—sometimes too much, if she packs everything she owns! There’s mesh on the side for water bottles and a handy top pocket for sunglasses, but my daughter prefers to stash her charger, favorite pink pencil, erasers, or any little toys she gets as rewards from her teacher. I removed a star because my order was not packed correctly. You could clearly see what it was. Glad I was close to my door when it was dropped off. I looked it over and read other reviews. So far so good. But I will definitely be checking the quality over time. Hopefully they stand by the lifetime warranty on the tag. I know it's also a bit small but I really didn't need anything too big. I love the pretty colors. Something reminiscent of my childhood, so I got it for the retro nostalgic feel. Would be cool if the shatters glowed in the dark. But it might be nice under blacklight ... show more
