I bought one just like this one about four years ago and it is still like new. My signficant other's biirthday was comming up in September, so I asked her what she wanted, she replied a new suitcase. I went on AMAZON in march and they had the Swiss Gear Sion Softside Expandable Luggage in a 25 inch on sale for $110.00. I opened up an account with AMAZON and i got a free gift card for $80.00, I used to buy the luggage she wanted. The final cost was about $40.00. I looked at the color choices and bought the Teal color on, she loves it. This suit case is well built and has allot of room for cloths. The wheels are very sturdy and can spin around freely It is light weight and easy to handle. There is a handle on the bottom and the side of the suitcase The top handle is made of strong metal and pulls out very easily, their is a release button on thop of the handle. It look good and is expnadable. The zippers are not cheap ones, they are very sturdy. This suitcase is comfortable to handle. The material is a very strong material and I never had any problems with it. Before I bought this suit case I read the reviews and what people had to say about this suitcase. Most of the reviews were very good. I basically went with my experince with the same one I bought four years ago and have done allot of travel with it. This suit case is built bullet proof. When you have a well built luggage like the SwissGear Sion Softside Expandable Luggage you take good care of it. It will last and perform like new for years. So if your in the market for a 25 inch check out SwisGear Sion Expandable Luggage you wont go wrong if you buy one. A buck well spent is a buck well spent. This piece of luggage is the best banf for you buck.

After my budget carry on died on a trip to Europe, I decided to save up for something better. I'm sure there are better out there, but you're going to pay a lot more. For my budget, this one is a winner. I was even lucky enough to catch it on sale. I love the color, the quality, the lightness, and the value. Even the budget airlines in Europe let me carry it on, though I did have a "discussion" with RyanAir (Who amongst us hasn't? LOL.) The pockets are well designed, the wheels work great, and the expansion feature is great. I was able to pack EVERYTHING in there with it expanded and then I zipped it back up to compress. I'm looking to buy the big one next. Just hoping for another sale.

I bought two of these large suitcases to take on an upcoming trip. They seem to be very nice. The wheels are most important and the wheels on these seem strong and well-placed. They are big enough…I have been able to pack everything I want to take. I love the color. Not a red…forgot what the actual color is but I think it will be easier to spot on the baggage roundabout at the airport. The zippers seem just fine. I like the added pouches on front for last minute items. These seem sturdy, roll beautifully, size is great, color is very nice and the handle works perfectly. They arrived very quickly. We have used our Samsonite for years and alas, a wheel broke on a recent vacation. After many years of use…the pieces were looking well worn. It was time to buy new. I hope we have many years of use out of this luggage.

bag is fine but I've used it for one trip and the zipper pulls are falling off and disappearing. Annoying. It would be great if the company would send me some replacement ones so the bag would function as it should.

Just took it on a trip to Mexico, it has features we didnt even know we needed! - waterproof pouch that snaps in - handle ON THE BOTTOM - plastic feet on the side And all the features we expected - lightweight and strong - holds up in rain (not waterproof, but our stuff managed to stay dry) - wheels felt solid and smooth - good, solid suitcase - the burgundy color makes it easy to spot in the baggage carousel It's a little spendy, but it's solid. Recommended. -

Excellent suitcase for a long trip or family. It holds a lot of items and has pockets inside and on the outside to keep items organized. The dark blue color and nice fabric helps its durability and will keep it from getting dirty like lighter colors would. The wheels maneuver well and with ease. The handle opens and closes smoothly and is a comfortable length. I’ve already traveled with it across country twice and it’s in perfect condition still. This suitcase will last me a long time.

I recently traveled using a hard side piece of luggage. Upon arrival in my stateroom and unpacking I noticed the case had received substantial damage to both top and bottom corners on one side.; three cracks in the suitcase. I debated buying a new piece of luggage for travel home but opted to buy a roll of duct tape to mend inside and out. Upon arriving home I researched many soft side expandable pieces of luggage and read hundreds of reviews. I chose this 25” piece in black because it had many positive reviews, was on sale at $40 less than same piece of luggage in several colors. I recieved this piece today and inspected it thoroughly. There was absolutely no visual damage. All the zippers worked with ease. Wheels rolled easily across both wood floors and area rugs. The telescoping handle raises to two positions but wish there was a third lower option. I’m 5’5” and the settings are a bit high for me to roll comfortably at my side; however, I can always pull it behind me. I can also easily maneuver along side me by simply holding the top handle that’s used for lifting. This seems to be well made and I feel sure I’ll get several years of service for travel. And, the black matches a carry-on piece I already own.
