Review after (10 years of use.) Purchased in 2014 An honest review by a person who: "Uses things, as they should be used." After almost 7 years of heavy use on international flights, with various connections. And further, the severe "wear and tear" inflected from ground connections (Taxi's, Buses, Metros) at various countries. I can personally say that "This is a Good Purchase, that you would not regret !" Definition: (Heavy use on international flights= I define it as at least, but not limited to; 4 International flights per year Round Trip, with at least 2-3 connections per Trip.) This Luggage has proved to be a great value for the price purchased and has been extremely reliable and durable at airports that are not delicate with luggage. Both pieces are lightweight and manageable for the solo-traveler. The material protects its contents very well and is durable from moments of rainfall. It has never cracked/broken, as other luggage brands of similar material and dimension. The luggage handles are fully functional after 10 years of use, the zippers are still functional, the rubber hinges are now showing signs of deterioration/worn; yet functional enough 30% to travel-with. All wheels and handles are attached and 100% functional. Fair cosmetic condition, given its history and age. I will be repurchasing another as a replacement. I highly recommend as a good investment, as it has proven its quality and value. Good inexpensive luggage, airport luggage employees toss these bags around beating the heck out of them, we'll see how long it lasts. Recent set I purchased cost $325 for same size and they broke after first trip flying from west coast to east coast, not under warranty week old because damages was caused by airport employees dropping

Have taken a few trips with these and they have survived the airline industry. I like the fact you can roll them upright or tip them to pull behind you. Only negative is that one of the zipper pulls broke off but I can attribute that to baggage handing at the airport. I got some replacement pulls on Amazon and problem solved.

Loved the price, color, and weight. So far it has lived through a winter cross country trip from western mountains to NYC , Philly, Chicago & back. It was rolled and tossed. Has a few scuff marks from the airline. Otherwise the integrity of the large suitcase held up. Used the smaller case as a carryon for American Airline. My daughter is using the carry on right now. West mountains to Hawaii and back. Should do very well. I recommend this set. Great budget price for hard case.

The smell is the big bad issue with these. I've had them for 3 months and the smell is still there. If I put any piece of clothing on them or in them, the garment picks it up. It is that awful chemical smell some plastic gives off. I was disappointed with the blue color of these. It is very electric blue and not the sky blue that is shown in the picture -- more like that cheap bright blue. The outside of them are also not heavy duty plastic. I am sure they would not survive an airport ordeal. I did not buy them for any kind of tough travel and they are a good size with standard features that allow regular organization but nothing that makes them stand out from the competition. They seem to roll well too -- I like the independently turning wheels. Unfortunately, I can't use them as of now due to the smell which I hope will go away at some point.

These are way better than I expected. The sizes are perfect, lots of room. They roll well and have plenty of space. I like that they expand a little and they come with a lock for the zippers. Great purchase.
