We purchased these to replace an ottoman in the living room that the dogs claws destroyed. Came out of the box just fine and it was really easy to assemble. just screw the legs into place and you are good to go. These are sturdy enough to sit on without fear of them falling apart and they look nice. Only drawback is that they smell for a while from off gassing. ... show more

Love the look, love the hinged lid, love the size! I did not install the legs as that would have made the ottoman taller than my sofa and recliners. I love them without the legs. Only bad mark is the hard foam top, it is not giving to rest your legs, feet on. Hoping with time that it won't be so hard. Love the ottoman overall. If I would have known the top was the hard non-flexible foam top, I still would have bought them. I purchased 3, so each of us can put our feet up. Perfect! ... show more

The legs are not flush or set in slightly from the sides, nor does it seem to sit fully flat against the bottom, so the unfinished wood edges are visible. This makes it look cheaper than the rest of it which is very nicely made. I'll take the legs off and paint or stain the edges so this won't be noticed. Too lazy to return it.
