I work in an office environment where many people prefer to work in dimly lit areas. It's super depressing, but I also wanted to be able to brighten up my little area without affecting them too much. This little lamp is perfect. The torch section can be pointed directly up or at a number of angles to make sure it doesn't blast light in all directions, and the reading light adds just enough extra light to my work area to give me a little boost for reading documents and papers. The remote wasn't paired with the unit properly when I received it, so I had to go through the pairing process about 25 times before it clicked. It lost its connection several times, but then mysteriously after the third day, it's now been fine. I guess it may have been a fluke, but if it continues to work as it is now, it's really great. The brightness / color temperature adjustments work really well and the added foot switch means you can control it manually as well if you don't feel like using the remote. It's well built and slim, so it won't take up lots of floor space like some torch lamps. Build quality is good and there's no LED buzzing or humming. All in all, I really like it!

Well the lamp is really bright and works great. The only downside to it is that the cord inside is too long and hangs out awkwardly. It's pretty easy to put together and the remote works great so you don't have to get up and down to turn it on and off. That is definitely the best part.

Should I Get It? Yes, if you want an ultrabright lamp with a directional mini lamp attached to it. It can be adjusted to very dim to bright of any of the standard white, yellow, orange glows. Remote is fine, just not ideal. More Info: It is super easy to put together. I put mine together in less than 90 seconds. Both lamp portions can be adjusted to point in various positions. You can have the larger light pointing away from you while pointing the smaller "snake" type lamp at your desk while working. Its super convenient. The only thing I did not like is the remote. It works, it's just doesn't work as intuitively as I would like. It's by no means a deal breaker. I would definitely still recommend this light 100%. It's just not PERFECT, but a good product doesn't need to be perfect to be useful and recommended.

I really love this lamp. I love that you can move the second lamp for reading. The bulbs can be replaced. The brightness level is fantastic. You can change the mood lighting. Blue, yellow, white. It is great on so many levels. Push the on off by a floor button. Very easy to use. The reason I did four and not five stars is the remote. It works. Sometimes. Sometimes it does not. Enough said on that as far as I am concerned but you lose a lot of features by not having a working remote. You should be able to turn on the lamps separately. Now why I give the four stars is that this is SO bright. The lamp is awesome to brighten a room. As I get older I need better light to read and see easier this is just great for that reason alone. For Seniors this would also be good to have a foot pedal so they don't have to bend over.

I really needed a floor lamp in my bedroom as the fan uses those tiny bulbs. This lamp is bright and i love the remote. I was able to angle it where it lights up most of my room. Definitely happy with the purchase. Not the most attractive lamp but not ugly either

this is next level floor lamp.... the light is superb, love the task light... best to mount the remote if possible so it does not get mis placed as there is no other way to turn the lights on and off.... the base is strong enough to prevent tipping light level is adjustable, very nice.... very clever product, impressed, 4.5 stars
