The first one I received the poles were strung wrong. Contacted Amazon chat and was issued a replacement. New one made properly. Can use a remote, app, and turn on/off via Alexa! Leave it a solid color or rotating color options.

Just hooked it up but awesome so far! My family suffers with migraines so this light is a HUGE HELP as light sensitivity is a big trigger for our migraines and during a migraine! Haven’t played around with it too much but so far the light choices are amazing either colored or regular! You can also have the light change to vibe with music once you download the app.. HAVENT GOT THAT FAR.. ONLY CON: I would say so far is during assembly, the actual light fixture wires clipping into the wires in the rods (white clip assembly) is very tough to get pushed into the rod to screw everything together! I literally felt like i was going to break the wires trying to jam it in the rod! They need to make it easier (thats why its 4 stars). Review created on day 1 of product - i will advise and change if any issues down road… But so far.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ... show more

I ordered this lamp because I knew my husband, who loves all things related to RGB lighting, and it is a definite hit in this house. It is his go to light and he uses it daily as soon as it gets dark. The app is easy to navigate and makes it very easy to choose your settings. It has a multitude of settings and I never know what my husband is going to decide to do with it each day. I love that it can go from being super bright to diffuse soft light. I've had this lamp for a couple months now and it's still going strong! I use the remote it came with, primarily using the white light for my basement room that has no overhead light. It gets bright enough to light up the dark room. The dimming feature is nice to still be able to read in bed, w/o it being too bright. It is also adjustable so I can reflect the white light on the ceiling, or have it directly pointing into the room. I have a small space and sits in a corner, out of the way beautifully. I do wish the height was adjustable. I did not use the app because it wanted my wifi password. Did not trust that. ... show more

Okay where do I begin on this one, hmmm? First of all I am in love with this lamp. I got down on one knee & proposed &it accepted!!! haha just kidding lol. But seriously I will own this lamp until it dies which I believe will be many many years from now. I've tested a few of these types of lamps and if I honestly had to describe this lamp in terms of boxing this lamp is 1980's Mike Tyson flat out. I've given it some rigorous testing left it on for days and multiple different modes and it works is beautifully as I when I took it out of the package. It's extremely well made, was easier to put together than a cheese sandwich, and honestly whoever designed the remote control should be padded on the back and applauded and given a raise! By far the easiest remote for one of these lamps I have used I'm Gen x and I'm not the most technically adapt and it took me a matter of a minute to figure out the remote while another lamp I recently received (which price point is $90!!! WHAT!?!?!) The remote was horribly designed I never did figure it out even my Gen Z daughter who can use an Apple iPhone 15 in her sleep LOL was scratching her head over it. Into one week of its testing it failed miserably the remote quit working and the lamp itself does work to some extent by using a combination of the buttons but it's random and it's now a $90 night light for my cat's litter boxes in the basement. So know there are some bad lights out there & for the price of 3 of these!! But to get back on topic about the awesome light you're actually reading the review about, I can't say enough good things about this light and it's not just because I got it for free it's because it is just OG like Eazy-E- or Tupac OG lol. Honestly I'm grabbing another one while they're only 30 bucks.
