Description

The T5V is a two-way nearfield monitor that is optimised for home studios and small control rooms. With its 5” woofer, the bass-frequency response of the T5V extends to 45 Hz. The high-resolution U-ART tweeter extends to 25 kHz and is complemented by a precision waveguide with similar dispersion-control attributes to those found in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series. The waveguide’s uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides a wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a fixed mix position while working. A beveled cabinet and overall compact footprint allows for placement anywhere, including smaller rooms. The crossover of the 50 W Class D woofer amplifier and the 20 W Class D tweeter amplifier is expertly managed by DSP, and together they produce SPLs of up to 106 dB per pair.

    • Great Bundle
Style: T5V Set: Studio Monitor
Very firm quality a little slippery with the material (proceed with caution ) with the Monitors & Sub-Woofer, having crisp high end frequencies , with booming low end and Mid’s are just right not too loud unless you push it to the next level in which you can but don’t recommend it, When the whole spectrum is there. Note to self these are for studio monitoring not stereo speakers would have loved if the monitors had the light on/off icon in the front and not the back which the woofer does have which is convenient. Surprisingly the woofer was a little on the heavy side, monitors were decent weight, giving that professional look & sound to my home studio Was quick to set up wouldn’t settle with less than a 6ft cable I bought myself XLR’s wih 1/4” that goes perfect with my Scarlett 2i2. It was a Bang for your buck in this bundle wouldn’t miss out if you are looking for something high grade ... show more

    • A Solid and Spacious Sound
Style: T5V Set: Studio Monitor
ADAM Audio has been a reputable name in the realm of studio monitor speakers, and the T5V stands as a testament to that. Size and Build: Right off the bat, one notices their size. They're bigger than you'd expect, so if you're tight on desktop space like I am, you might have to play a game of musical chairs with your gear. The build quality is robust, with a design that commands presence. Sound Quality: One of the highlights of the T5V is its flat frequency response, a trait coveted by audiophiles and studio professionals. But ADAM Audio offers a cherry on top, with a tweakable frequency response curve that can be adjusted 2dbi up or down for high and low frequencies. This grants the listener the power to tailor the sound to their specific tastes or room acoustics. The sound emanating from the T5Vs is full-bodied, with a bass that makes its presence known without overwhelming. If you're seeking room-shaking bass, this might not be the pick for you, but if clarity and balance are what you're after, the T5Vs do the job impressively. Comparison to Emotiva Airmotiv 4: Having previously owned the Emotiva Airmotiv 4, I couldn't help but draw comparisons. The T5Vs certainly have a more wholesome sound, but they lose a touch of the 'sparkle' that made the Emotiva's stand out. It's akin to having a hearty meal but missing that sprinkle of seasoning that adds an extra zing. Conclusion: In the world of studio monitors, the ADAM Audio T5V is undoubtedly a worthy contender. Its adjustable frequency response is a pleasant addition, and while it might not appeal to those seeking a more compact size or a scintillating high-end sparkle, it shines in delivering a reliable, well-rounded sound experience. ... show more
