These went down in price and I swooped on them. I prefer the classic that made the brand in the first place than the newer products, I feel you lose quality in the newer built product with Bluetooth. They have tremendous quality for studio monitors and they are made for producer not the average listening consumers. These can also compete with Yamaha HS5 in mastering musics projects but also have its own unique aspect that differentiates the two. If you want bass I suggest complementing these monitors with the KRK subwoofer and Mackie pro studio big nob to get everything organized and perfect. I use these in my home studio, and have it connected to Mackie Big Nob pro studio and use Logic Pro X when producing and they work perfect for getting PERFECT EQ VARIATIONS in my projects. I use KRK HEADPHONE for mastering but like I said for variations in mastering my projects on something louder is the MAIN REASON I bough them. When I finish mastering my projects, I use my pioneer DJ DM40 to listen to it and the EQs are on point on the average low grade monitors that most people have. There was a promotional item that was missing from the order and the seller was prompt and professional with shipping the missing items. The monitors work very well, as intended. I use them with my Television instead of a sound bar. If you want the best possible sound for you money go with any of the KRK monitors. We did need to buy a $6 red/white/aux RCA audio cord at Best Buy to hook up the speakers to my son’s laptop so he can use his DJ mixing board. We did this instead of buying a $100 amp interface. Reviews read that the sound is better with interface but the speakers are plenty loud without it and using the cord. He put red cord in one speaker and white in the other! Directions didn’t specify we just played around until it worked. Videos show hooking up to interface. Sorry not the best pic of him mixing on patio. ... show more
