First off the material is heavy duty. Most of us search for a apron like this that will last 10-20 years and this one will. However, there are a number of things it’s missing and will end up frustrating. I may try and fix myself. Here is what would have made it great for woodworkers, metal workers etc. It needs certain features like you would get on a tool belt. There is no tape measure clip/holder (may buy in amazon and figure out how to rivet it), the bottom pockets have no dividers, you will not easily store or remove multiple tools like screwdrivers, pliers etc like a tool belt has. The top pockets are way to narrow. each one needs another .5 to .75 inch wider to be more useful. There is no loop for hanging the apron. The magnets are not strong enough so I ripped open the top of two of those pockets to I could fit a small square. Finally it could use some D rings. I see youtube video with competitor products attaching there dust collector and other items with a cord to the D ring. Perfect!! ... show more

This was a gift to my husband, plenty of pockets. He likes the magnets sewn in thw front for easy access to any tools or hardwear he needs. Helps greatly at keeping wood shavings/dust in workshop instead of tracking in house. Just the right length.

This apron is quite stiff but will probably soften a bit as I use it. It will surely stop the small pieces of wood that my table saw throws at me occasionally. The top pockets are small and not very deep. The lower pockets are difficult to access because of the stiffness of the material.

It is coated, for protection, but is so stiff, a good stand up on its own! I wonder if I can put it into the dryer and soften it, without leaving residue, in my dryer for other clothes to pick up?
