To address one of the things people struggle with - removing the tape on the gold bar - just unscrew the metal bar and remove the sticky stuff, then screw the bar back on. I actually spray painted the metal bar and legs a darker color as the gold looked tacky in my opinion. Loved this futon so much that I'm purchasing another for my camper - will do some switching of the connectors and basically have a 4 seat sectional. Pictures to come once it's done. My only complaint at all is this couch does sit a little low, I may chop up some 2 x 4's to make blocks to raise it up a couple of inches. ... show more

I love our new couches! I thought they were going to be hard and uncomfortable but they're pleasantly soft and cozy. Beautiful look and easy to put together. Only issue was the protective film on the gold accent pieces you have to peel off.. quite a pain.

The couch was easy to assemble except I'm missing one screw because that screw didn't want to go in.. I'm not sure how long the couch will last. To me it doesn't seem very durable. I think the couch should be marked down for what it's priced for basically paid over $300.00 because of the shipping and handling. But it's okay. I just hope it doesn't break. I bought the Futon for my office for times when the weather may be bad and I have to stay longer than expected. Let me start off by saying the futon is really really cute but really small. Not only is it very low to the ground but not very wide. I’m only 4ft 10in and if I’m laying on the futon my feet are approximately 1 inch from the side wall which is to my very small. So don’t get this if you’re planning on taking any naps. If it’s just for sitting and for a small space then it’s a winner. Last thing it’d be nice if they found an easier way to take off the plastic that stops it from getting scratched. ... show more
