I like how complete this is for proper installation of guide wire for string light. The instruction step 5 is misleading, they should show that crimping was needed on the silver item where the cable wire goes through. Step 6 is to crimp the hook after widening to go through the eyelet. However this is not needed if the end will pass through a carabiner or an open hook Step 8 Use a 7mm socket wrench instead of a wide mouth adjustable wrench coz the nut will go deeper than the cover. This is a very comprehensive kit that gives you multiple options for installing. Anchors for wood and concrete are both quality and strong. The turnbuckles and carabiners provide additional means for attaching and tightening and subsequently removing the system. If the materials are truly 304 stainless as listed, this should last for many years. I did purchase a set of crimpers to use the ferrules and eyelets for a clean install. ... show more

I bought this kit to hang some heavy duty string lights over a 50" gap between my house and trees. While buying hardware from unheard-of ("GZFTM" isn't exactly a household name) brands off Amazon can be a bit of a gamble, the gamble paid off. Although I already had 200’ of 1/8” SS cable from another project, the coated 1/16” cable in this kit seemed sufficient for stringing these cafe lights. Granted, the span was only 20’. The lights are simply hung with S fasteners. One tip: to avoid constantly moving a ladder; just string all the lights up on one end, then pull across the cable to the other end. ... show more

For one of the cheapest kits on Amazon, this thing worked exactly as I'd hoped. All of the pieces were accounted for and packaged well. Everything was easy to use except that there is not a crimping tool included. I used a pair of dykes to crimp them and it worked just fine!

Strung 102 feet of cafe lights with this kit - everything included that's needed to complete the job. I needed crimpers for 15 dollars which I bought separately. Great price for a complete kit - lights look nice.
