To start, we ordered these online through Amazon, site unseen, and had concerns whether we did the right thing versus hiring a local Blind Co to handle measurements, ordering and installation. The Blinds arrive much quicker than we expected, installation was a breeze and the quality was over the top good. I did have a programming challenge (user error) with one on my remotes and contacted the factory via Amazon Customer Support. Received a video call from the manufature within a couple hours, walked me through step-by-step to re-program and now everything works great. We were so please, we just order 3 more. This company is terrifc and if you are looking for high quality blinds at a resonable price, look no further, Acmeart is the Best!

I agree with other reviewers about this product. The fabric and hardware seem good, as does the single remote. The problem is with the instructions. I think I have a fix. For the inside mount, the middle of the screw hole closest to the back angle should be set back to 3" exactly for the blinds to fit I measured the 3" back from the window opening, placed a mark on the top of the window opening and then used blue tape to get a straight line. I made some pilot holes at the edge of the blue tape where I wanted to place the bracket, then lined up another screw hole and placed another pilot hole. The alignment was perfect and after installing the screws and brackets, it became a fairly easy job, if you like going up and down ladders, again and again... This is my 5th install of a zebra and they do get easier. This is the first time i used the tape trick.

I've owned these blinds for about a year now. They are good blinds overall, but, they are honestly not worth the hassle that comes with them. 1) the install instructions need to be a bit better. I received my two large blinds (nearly max width offered) with about 10 ceiling clips and no real instructions. So I figured 5 for each window, and I spaced them out evenly. Wrong! The unit would not clip in, no matter how I tried. And they were laser lined, all in order, perfect. Only 3 per window were actually needed. House of drilling into the concrete later, then re-surfasing the holes I did not need, I finally got them up. This would have been good to say. 2) once I got them up, finally... after frankly too much effort. I press the button to see them in action, they begin to roll down, and stop after about 1.5ft, about 3-3.5ft too short. Hmm, odd. I look up at the rollers, and there is no more fabric on the roll. In a panic, I check my order to make sure I didn't screw up the measurement. I didn't. Their customer service (which I'll admit is good) determined the operator entered the wrong dimensions into the system, and would re-send me the FABRIC ONLY. Mind you, I just spend a lifetime installing these, just now have to un-install them, wait nearly a month to get the new set, and have to re-assembly them myself. They did send a step by step video for this part, and it wasn't that hard, but, again... just not worth the hassle. No credit back offered, not gesture to send out a local handyman. Disappointing. 3)They are up and running, everything is going well, then about a year in, something screwy happens with the left one only. The remote command starts working in the opposite direction unprovoked. So Imagine this, both shades are lowered. I hit the button to raise both, and only one goes up. At first I think it is just the battery, so I re-charge. Only to find out, using the other remote, which is programed for each share individually, that somehow the roller direction flipped. I press down, and it starts to go up, the opposite direction. Then up, and it starts going down. Just the left shade though, the right shade is perfect. Tonight I plant to reset the remotes. Hopefully it works. Final verdict. Beautiful blinds. Just not worth the hassle... Do yourself a favor, find a local supplier and installer, and pay the extra money. I wish I had.

We loved the features of this style of blind and shopped locally until realizing they were out of our budget from the big box stores. We lucked up and found this item and took a chance on ordering a custom blind online. We chose the inside the frame style and measured accordingly. The dimensions were verified through the factory prior to making them. They blinds arrived quicker than expected and we were super excited. We are also super busy so it was ten days before we had the time to open the box and mount. The mounts were super simple and high quality but our frames were a bit wonky. We have a mid 70's ranch with original windows. The blinds roll down from the rear of the roller (1.25" diameter). When reaching the midway point they hit the lower window jamb and continued to the bottom of the window. In it's fully extended position it appeared to bow out at the mid way point. It looked peculiar so we reached out to the factory and they helped find a solution. We were given several options and they always responded to correspondence within 24 hours. My issue was resolved in a satisfactory manner and we are grateful. I would suggest to anyone considering this item for purchase to use an outside the window frame mount. It looks lovely and works great.
