This is the replacement chrome book for the one that I returned. This chrome book at least is in decent shape. This power supply is a usb cable with a wall plug which is rated at an output of 5 volts at 2.4 amps. This chrome books power supply is an output of 15 volts at 3 amps at 45 watts. their power supply will charge the laptop very slowly. I also ended up with a renewed Lenvono rather than the order Acer. I will have to order the proper power supply. ... show more

Feels Brand New I’m really impressed with this purchase. Even though it’s refurbished, the quality is excellent and it looks almost brand new. It arrived fairly quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a charger since I wasn't necessarily expecting one. It’s been perfect for school so far. The price was great, and I would definitely buy it again. My only minor note is that the screen appears a bit smaller than you’d expect because of the bezel (the black border around the display). However, it isn't too small to be functional and it doesn't bother me at all. I haven't used it for much outside of schoolwork yet, but so far, I love it! ... show more

Solid machine. Bought it for my granddaughter's 7th birthday. I've spent 25 years in tech and am a hardware Diva. I know laptops, PCs, servers, etc., inside out. It was carefully packaged and I appreciated that very much. I tested every aspect of this device. 100% functionality - EXCEPT - this model doesn't support backlit keyboards like the description said. So I took a star off for that. Even setting up the hotkey in the UI, doesn't have any effect. I put a 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro microSD in it for file storage. Tested file transfers, playing music, playing .mp4, copied files back and forth. Ejected USB drives multiple times. No problems at all. All the function keys work, audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, keyboard, trackpad. Both cameras work. They take photos, videos, scan docs and scan QR codes. Mic works. Everything is flawless. The other reason I took off a star is because the A/C adapter was filthy. It had the velcro cable tie that came with the adapter still connected and it was full of hair, what looked like animal hair, fuzz and dirt. I cut it off and tossed it. Also, there was really old 'invisible' cellophane tape on the brick that I had to get off with a spudger. You couldn't peel it off with your fingernails because it was so old and just kept tearing off in tiny bits. After scraping the tape off, I used 91% alcohol to clean the residue and also both the power cable and the cable that goes to the USB-C port for charging. They were really, really dirty. I don't want to give my granddaughter something dirty like that. I'd planned to clean it anyway. So, I cleaned the entire device with alcohol except the screen. I used something different for that. But honestly, this was a banger of a deal and I almost wished I had bought one for myself. But I already have too much hardware in my house. My granddaughter will LOVE this. The only thing I need to test is battery life. After I fully charge it up, I'm going to just play movies on it for a couple of hours and see how long it holds a charge. I haven't tested printing yet. But if I have an issue with either one, I'll update my review. Other than that, this is a great unit and in mint condition. Except for the power adapter - it has a big scratch on it but I honestly don't care about that! It works just fine! :) UPDATE: Battery life was great for a used device. Around 7 hours of just playing YouTube videos. If I had turned the brightness down, I probably could have gotten 8. And it prints just fine. Connects to my HP NeverStop LaserJet via Wi-Fi. ... show more

This was purchased for my son's first computer as it was required at school. It has done exactly what is necessary for kid at an incredible price. I did not want to risk buying an expensive computer knowing how destructive my son can be. Despite this, it has been very durable and I could not ask for more. I will start by saying that this is the second time I have ordered this item, I have no complaints about the first time I bought this exact product from the same seller, it came quickly on time and I was impressed with the quality and condition. This order however was not in "Excellent" condition, shipped via a different carrier (FedEx) which does not properly deliver to where I live so I had to wait an extra day and drive to a Walgreens to pick it up after being able to reach FedEx live agent (hours of extra work trying to get this package). Aside from that, I could immediately tell something was off about the product when I opened it up. I noticed there is no texture on the top of the clamshell and saw appealing corner and realized that the entire computer the top the bottom the keyboard was wrapped with a cheap adhesive backed sticker wrap thing that was already peeling off on some of the corners. Having wraps and peeling edges on my electronics really bothers me so I peeled everything off to reveal lots of little scuff marks, visible signs of wear and tear, etc - cosmetic things, to a degree that that should not be present on on a refurbished product that is advertised as being in EXCELLENT condition and priced as such. I went to turn the computer on and the battery was dead on arrival so I had to first plug it in order to turn the computer on. And then when it finally turned on it gave me an error message saying about the charger I was using (the charger that was provided in the box) stating "Low Power Charger Connected" which is an error message that I have never seen before. So I am not sure what that is all about, but it is charging very very slowly at this time. I would return but I needed this laptop yesterday and just now got it and I have work to do so I don't have time to return it but I am pretty disappointed. ... show more
