These are great, I use them everyday for practicing and recording. The sound quality is good, the fact that the wire only comes out of one ear instead of both makes it much easier to wear while playing a guitar, bass, drums, and presumably other instruments. Both ears fold out in case you want to press it to your head instead of wearing it, which is nice. They are not too loose or too tight, and the padding is sufficient. Pure good sound for the price, I got 2 sets for music production matter, nice for hearing recorded vocals, also to practice my instruments. They cheap but they perfect for the price, if you honest you may gotta be amazed when you try them lol

These headphones are not designed for your average music consumer or video gamer. It doesn’t have the traditional smiley face EQ with over hyped bass and treble and mids scooped, so the everyday person listening to Taylor, Weekend, Drake etc. are not going to like how these sound. However I use these as monitors with my Guitar with BIAS Fx / AMP Neural DSP etc. so I wanted a neutral frequency curve to reproduce my tone. I’m giving this 4 stars because I was a bit disappointed with the audio quality there are other headphones in the $30-40 range that sound better than these, however the build quality of these are the best of any cheap headphones I’ve ever purchased. So if you need cheap studio monitors that won’t break the first time your drunk bass player drops them and steps on them, these may be your best bet in the introductory price range. My suggestion? Save a little more money and buy a pair of ATH M series headphones. The 20x go for about $15 more than these and are superior in sound quality and equal in durability. ... show more

Made of quality materials. Nice balance of tones without a lot of bass through it's 40mm Neodymium Magnets. Stainless steel telescopic arms for durability. Phones are lightweight and very comfortable. Looking forward to years of service.

After years of owning Audio Technica ATH-M20X's, they suddenly became too small. No longer fitting completely over my ears, causing me weariness and ear aches. ... I had to invest in something larger that was adjustable, as most studio headsets I've tried were built for larger heads. So I took a chance on these, as they resemble the Audio Technica's; built roughly the same. But the concern being the actual cup size. As I didn't want to make the same mistake and be out $90. A lot of dough for some folks right now. Well ... so far, great investment 👍 Fitting nicely over my ears, all day. As good wearing headsets should. Should anything change in the near future, I'll be certain and update my rating. UPDATE: Not quite as comfy as expected despite the well design. My ears have 'grown into' the slightly larger cuffs, creating a slight noise disturbance, which is troublesome for audio recording around a busy studio of interruptions etc. I'll look for something a little wider and heavier around the ears. ... show more
