Arrived in good order. Booted up without issue. Found my WiFi. Connected like a champ. Updated no issue. Window 11 ready. SSD is the way to go these days. 8 gig memory installed as advertised. Added another stick of Acer 8 gig. 16 gig RAM recognized. Expandable to more if needed. Video card is just fine for those running games. I play Uboat that is a resource hog like no other. Game plays without issue or lag at all. There is a nice feature named Nitrosense preinstalled. The app controls the cooling fans automatically or at a set speed if desired. Playing Uboat that sucks the life out of the CPU and GPU the fans kicked into high for cool running while I played the game. That my friends are a nice feature. And to add, the fans run slowly when heavy gaming is not in use. As a result, it is very quiet as one simply browses or is working emails, etc. Many moons ago my very first computer (in the 90's) was an Acer Emachine E-monster 550. It was a great machine. I'm glad Acer has kept assembling computers. This Nitro appears to be just a great as my old Emachine. I'm very pleased with the purchase. Nice job Acer. ... show more

  • Great starter PC
Size: 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Tower only
I bought this for my 15 year old as a starter gaming PC. He was previously using my old HP gaming laptop and it was fairly old and starting to struggle to keep up with his gaming. Plus, it had a very small graphics card and memory which made it hard to game together. I don't know what is great or wonderful in the PC world, I know just enough to be dangerous but not enough to rave about this or that. I can just basically tell you that this PC has been awesome for him. He talks all the time about how fast it is, and he has a ton of games installed on it. It runs great, it's quiet and its just an all-around good starter PC. I wasn't a huge fan of the ACER brand for laptops, but this desktop has been awesome. 0 problems with it. Great product. ... show more

  • Misleading
Size: 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Tower only
Amazon advertises this machine with four memory slots - the mother board only has two. Other than that, this is a great machine for beginning to mid level gamers. It has enough power and video capability for every game that I currently play. As this was a gift, I upgraded the RAM to 16Gig and tested it before I presented to my daughter. To date, she has been very happy with this machine. ... show more

  • Many Pros, Few Cons
Size: 8GB RAM | 512GB SSD Style: Tower only
I like the computer. It was easy to set up and it definately works well for startup gaming. It's only real downfall is the Norton security. It had pre-installed software to help manually manage cooling, I ran CS:GO with high settings and it didn't lag. I would 100% recommend. I'll post some videos soon too. Update(without video): IT WILL NOT RUN STREAMLABS AND ELDEN RING TOGETHER. as well, you might want to add more RAM. It comes with 4 slots. And high graphics settings throws my GPU usage to 98%. It is good for most games, except the BIG ones that came out recently. I would recommend ordering a newer Graphics card and at least 32 gigs of ram. You may want to throw in an SSD or HDD as well, the storage capacity isn't big enough for a lot of games. ... show more
