This is a great safe for a couple shotguns or deer rifles, with room for a couple pistols and ammo. The safe was delivered packaged with a heavy cardboard container, dense foam surround with metal angles on all corners, so it arrived safely to my door. The metal is a heavy gauge thickness and the 3 pin bolts inspire confidence in the security of your firearms. This isn't one of those light gauge "gun cabinets". The quality of the electronics, locks, and mechanisms is what you'd expect. The door swings easily and closes solid. The programming is easy, with an admin and an extra accessibility with a personal password. If the batteries die, use the keys to open the safe, or there is a jack to plug in an external battery box. Cabinet does not keep your guns "secure" in any way - even at an entry level the user should be able to eliminate the factory settings in favor of personalized coding (the fact that this can't be done isn't in the product description or the user manual - this sounds awfully misleading when the product is advertised as a "Security Cabinet" Apparently I just bought an expensive metal box - whoo hoo ... show more

This gun safe is exactly what I needed to keep my firearms secure and out of the wrong hands. The dimensions (52"H x 8.66"D x 9.85"W) are perfect for storing my rifles, and I really appreciate the included racks and two pistol pockets – it keeps everything organized and easily accessible.     • Limited space but okay!
Great price but my duty rifle with 30 round mag will not allow the door to close. You can however, close and lock the “cabinet” with a 20 round mag inserted in your rifle. Full size pistols in the pockets attached to the door, will not allow you the cabinet door either. I use these pockets for my Glock mags. All in all, I secured it to the wall and it’s great for what I need, but space is EXTREMELY limited. All in all, an okay product! ... show more

I was looking for a safe with a slim profile that could fit in a narrow spot and still feel sturdy. This one checked all the boxes. The setup was super easy — clear instructions and everything worked right out of the box. It’s light enough that I was able to move it by myself, but once bolted to the wall it feels solid and secure. There’s more room inside than I expected for such a compact design.
