For as much as I paid for this, I am incredibly disappointed to say it was dead on delivery. Fresh out of the box, it wouldn't turn on. It wouldn't connect with the charger. And now, I am having to file a claim, and begin what I am sure is a lengthy repair. It's funny, another guy wrote the same thing happened to him and I thought "what are the chances? ".... Hmmm. Update: Called ACER, got it running. Then they informed me that my warranty ran out, and that this is an Australian model, over a year old. It's completely not running at this point. I have to return it because according to ACER it's completely fraudulent. TLDR; This is a fraudulent unit. ... show more

Bought this laptop. Out of the box would not turn on. Battery would not charge. Had to take bottom off unplug battery then fire it up. After that it would charge. Used it for a couple weeks then it would not charge. This time power supply cord was bad so replaced that and it’s again working for now.     • Keyboard backlights do not work

I have always used ACER and never had a problem . This computer is very nice. But the keyboard back lights come on during POST then turn of and Fn+F10/F9 does nothing. NitroSense 30 sec timer is off and the BIOS BKLT Timer is disabled and still no lights. Tried to contact Acer to see if there is a registry setting to set them on but no luck. ... show more

This computer is still very light and not heavy, but the keyboard feels very bad, the only disadvantage. There are also small scratches on the side of the machine. The refurbished one is acceptable.
