This is more than I thought I’d get for the cost . All metal mounting or housing components . Inside is composite instead of plastic which if u ride stuff I’ll know what the advantage is instantly . If u don’t I’ll try my best to explain in short. Plastic blows especially in the cold . It fails and sometimes won’t slow super glue options or methods . Composite takes to super glue like it’s fused in my opinion. Also the engineering inside the housing can look confusing or intimidating but take a sec slow down and look at it and it was actually simple to assemble . Think it was three pieces . The cable the housing /handle and the lil “snatch block method “ cable guide (is the best way I can describe it ) it actually shifts the direction of the cable pre handle track so instead of the track wearing and failing that piece redirects the pull/friction eliminating the friction wear point which is what normally fails and leaves u scratching your head trying to figure how to get home with out destroying the entire throat. assembly anyway the grips are so far pretty good quality and cut a lot of the vibration that fatigues ur hands 20 mins into a ride . I either got used to it or the ease of the twist plus the soft handle grips my hands don’t really hurt under my thumb much at all now that I’m thinking about it. So yea in short I’ve had the set up for about 2-3 months and holding up well absolute up grade in grips sense / ease in throttle effort , much better quality over all seems like it will hold up ! Easy to assemble and install . Absolutely would buy again and again . But hopefully won’t need to ... show more
