I've had a hand me down Dell tower since 2013. It was my workhorse that I used for my business for years and two weeks ago, it finally broke down. It wasn't worth the repair so I needed a new PC. This ACER AIO is definitely something pretty slick and sweet. The screen is great in size, the quality of the resolution is sharp, and the performance of the system is pretty fast and smooth. The ONLY downside about this machine is the camera's resolution is not as clear. I don't need the camera anyway since I use my iMac, but I just needed to test it.     • Don’t believe all those negative reviews!
We didn’t order our Acer with a touch screen, so I can’t evaluate those. However, everything else about this Acer C 27 is awesome! It wakes up & loads Windows 10 Home in SECONDS, not minutes. The display is very clear and crisp with vibrant colors. The speakers are loud enough for my 71-year-old ears; in fact, when I’m on Zoom, I turn the volume down to around 30% and that is quite loud enough for me. There is only one change I would make in the design, and probably most of you will not agree with me, but I wish the ports for peripherals were on the front or side of the monitor, rather than in the back along the bottom. I don’t like having to turn the monitor around every time I need my headphones plugged in. Of course, the way it is, no snarl of cords is visible from the front! We love our Acer! UPDATE 1/4/22: Sorry, I forgot one very important confession which may help some other customers. I could not figure out why the wireless keyboard worked just fine with the included batteries, but the mouse didn’t. Inserted and removed the single AA battery at least three times before I realized it was SHRINK-WRAPPED! Removed the plastic wrapper, inserted battery, and of course it worked. DUH! I laughed ‘til I cried. Now the whole system works VERY well! ... show more

    • Pretty good computer
I've mainly used this computer to stream showtime and discovery plus. For that it has worked flawlessly. I've also used it to attend a few zoom meetings while the computer seemed to work well the built in camera really sucks. The contrast isn't there. Surprisingly poor quality when it comes to the quality of the picture. Other than that I like the computer. It's fast and the monitor has excellent qualities. ... show more

    • Display is great; lightweight; fast; useless webcam
I was specifically looking to buy a computer with the following specifications: 1) Windows based 2) All-in-one desktop 3) 24"+ screen 3) $500-$800 price range 4) i5 processor or better 5) 2GHz+ speed 6) 8GB+ RAM THE GOOD: I am very pleased with the display and the lightness of the unit (easy to move). I also especially like the ease and range of the tilted screen. Startup is fast, no issues with wi-fi connectivity or internet. Basic office programs run quickly and smoothly. Overall this computer meets my needs with two exceptions. THE BAD: The webcam. I don't understand how anyone could build such a low quality webcam--it is LITERALLY useless. The image is completely washed out with zero clarity (i.e. it looks like a white fog). I immediately purchased a separate webcam as I am still working from home and in Zoom meetings regularly. The speakers are terrible. Turning up volume to 100% is like 25% in previous computers I've owned. Not loud enough and quality is equally terrible. Conclusion: If you don't mind having to buy a separate webcam and speakers, display and speed are great for general use. I can't speak to use for videogames or heavy media use (e.g. watching videos/ music). I primarily use for internet, email, word processing, etc. ... show more

    • Great computer
This computer replaces my Mac 21inch all in one. I am very pleased with my decision. I previously bought an Acer 24 inch for wife and noticed hers was a lot more efficient at processing work on office and excel. Mine had lagging time because apparently it doesn't play well with software intended for Microsoft. Anyway it's quick from screen to screen, opening, great video quality. The only thing as usual is the speaker volume and sound. But easily solved with blue tooth. Oh I did not realize this one doesn't have a cd drive like the one I bought for my wife. My bad, but those aren't expensive.. just have to have it on desk as a weight. lol I would recommend this computer for sure, at any level. ... show more

    • Fraud and Dishonest Representation. Negative 10 Stars
I purchased an Acer Aspire computer workstation, represented as new. It broke down about 35-40 days after the purchase. When I contacted Acer to use the warranty for repair, I was told the computer was NOT new, it was 2 1/2 years old and the warranty expired with the first buyer. After multiple attempts to resolve the situation with both the seller and Amazon I am still trying to get resolution almost 3 months later. I have now put over $300 into repairs to get this computer running for my business. If I could give this review a negative 10 stars, I would do that.     • Easy to set up
My only complaint is that the system automatically defaults to Microsoft Edge and Norton Anti-virus, and I will have to figure out how to disable both of these. Other than that, it is very convenient to use, and it was easy to get started. The computer was fully functional right away, but I have had to figure out a variety of default settings that I want to change. I would prefer that systems don’t make assumptions like this, and instead provide a list of default settings all together as part of the initial setup. ... show more

    • Burnout in less than 4 years
Had screen problems start shortly after my 3rd year anniversary using the computer. Used it regularly for a 40 hour work week working from home, but not much beyond that. Took it in to have it looked at, and a cooling fan was failing. Told the graphics card was junk because of overheating, but it could not be replaced separately. I need a whole motherboard replacement. Pretty disappointing for the price point I paid. Previous computer is a low line Toshiba laptop that has crappy performance, but still works after 12 years. ... show more
