It's not exactly what I expecte. Needs 8 more gigs of Ram, and just a bit of tweaking to get the results you're looking for. Update: DO NOT ORDER THIS WITH WINDOWS 11 INSTALLED. I'm sorry m$oft that the OS needs a GPU to run taking away resources like that for other things. AMD does a better job processing video on Windows 10. I tried doing video editing on Windows 11 as is and it was garbage. Made my computer operate like a cheap paperweight computer. On Windows 10, you'll feel the difference immediately. I like that laptop. Also, to save you time, if you're planning on upgrading the HDD, then remove temporarily the Wiresless LAN card that's inside so that you can insert the HDD wire completely and easily without breaking the laptop. Then you will be happy and save frustration. It runs like garbage once you have Windows 11 running. (Of course we knew it would) I accidentally ordered the wrong operating system with it. I ordered an Acer laptop with the understanding it had a backlit keyboard. It does not have a backlit keyboard. Otherwise it’s a decent laptop.

    • Don't Buy If You Use External Monitors

5 months going back and forth with Acer (sent it in three times to useless tech support) to ultimately learn they have a bug in their software and it won't be fixed. This is a completely useless machine for anyone who needs to use external monitors. The machine crashes spontaneously without any error reports. Acer says the machine works as it's "intended" and therefore they will not do anything to make this right. When you work in real time with internet inventory and lose a sale before it's completed because the machine shuts down, you can't use the machine. No Windows event logs, no crash reports, all updates and drivers applied. This is a problem with Acer's software and Windows 11. If Acer Tech Support would have been more helpful from the get-go, I'd give them a better rating, but now, 5 months later and 20+ hours of lost time dealing with them on this issue, the loss of income as a result of the lost time, the cost of this product which is now a complete loss, PLUS the fact I need to buy another machine means they deserve this one star and no more. ... show more
