I live in a motorhome, and space is always at a premium. I previously carried a windows computer that I had before I started living in the motorhome, but its size and weight were problematic. Since I mostly use my macbook, I decided the few times I wanted access to a windows PC were not worth it. However, this ACEMAGICIAN Mini PC means I can carry a windows PC that has at least as much capability with a much smaller footprint. With a 512GB hard drive and a processing speed of 3.4Ghz, this machine is more than capable of handling the limited tasks I use it for (some programs and web applications that either don't run on Mac or don't run well). I am using it with my TV for a monitor and a USB keyboard and mouse. I don't use it for video or gaming, so I can't say anything about its capabilities in those regards. I do like that even though it has a tiny footprint, it still has three USB ports, three HDMI ports, and dual gigabit ethernet ports (although another USB port would be more useful to me than three HDMI ports). This little unit has enough capability for almost anyone who needs a small and/or portable PC. I had no idea so much capability could come in such a small PC, but I am glad I got this. It truly deserves five stars.

The media could not be loaded. This laptop is fast and powerful. It is lightweight and slim. The startup was smooth and seamless. Connected to local WiFi easily. Was able to load my office suite, creative cloud suite and security software with no issues. The memory intensive graphics program launched and ran with no lag or glitches. Battery life is sufficiently long. The keyboard keys are large and easy to read. The only minor peeve is the size of the "return" key and the lack of a second "return" key at the lower right hand side of the keyboard. Very happy!

I was hesitant at first because I'd seen that this company had issues with malware being preloaded on their computers by a third party before shipping, but I read that this had been rectified so decided to give it a chance. When the computer arrived I very carefully checked it for viruses or anything suspicious and found nothing. That said, I still opted to erase the drive and install a fresh copy of Windows 11 myself. That was fine, however there were several hardware drivers Windows was unable to install on its own—including the wifi adapter. I imagine this will be a major issue for some users. It took awhile and there was one or two false starts, but I was able to download the necessary drivers from the acemagic website after asking for help on the forum. Anyway—once all that was done, the machine works great. I am almost certainly being too paranoid but better safe than sorry. I was really surprised by how small the computer is. The fact that it has two ethernet ports would make this suitable for use as a router by installing OPNsense or similar, and the CPU has the horsepower to do live malware scanning and such. With only three USB ports, it's possible that you'll need a USB hub, which isn't a huge deal but I would prefer it have another USB3 port in lieu of the third HDMI port. Anyway I'm quite happy with it and the help I got on the acemagic website forums.

The ACEMAGICIAN Mini PC does a decent job for what it is. It won't replace my laptop but it has sufficient capacity to manage essential tasks that I need to do while traveling. The reason I wanted to try this little computer is that when I travel I often have a very limited ability to bring items with me on airflights. This allows me to accomplish what I must on the road. I don't play games on it so I cannot say how well it operates under gaming conditions but its ability to accommodate attachments and the sufficient speed of the processor makes it a handy extension for my office on the road. I was glad to see that it didn't come with all sorts of unwanted programs. It got a clean bill of health in my initial scan for malware and viruses.

This has been a nice mini PC that includes windows and runs out of the box. It comes with various hardware to mount to the back of a TV, however it is small enough that I opted to have it just sit on the shelf, adjacent to my TV. Upon booting it up, I fully updated windows, and while it took a bit of time, there were no issues at all with the updates. Testing it out, it does struggle a bit with full 4k videos (wired network) as that it will have dropped frames (often enough to tell). 2k video and lower, it ran fine without any dropped frames. It does have WiFi built-in, but since I have wired network around my TV, I opted to run a wired network to it. Browsing and other various simple tasks worked just fine. Opening up and moving windows is fairly smooth and snappy too. For the CPU speed, it seems to be able to sit at 3.0-3.2GHz without an issue. During heavy usage, you can hear the fan faintly in a quiet room. However it is not noticeable unless you are listening for it. With TV audio playing, you cannot hear it at all. For other testing, I loaded up some emulators, and it will run up-scaled PS1 and GC (1080) fairly consistently typically running over 30FPS. With the built-in Bluetooth, connecting a controller is easy. With a controller, using it for cloud gaming worked very well with this mini PC. Overall I am very impressed with the performance for its size and cost, and would not have any issues recommending it to a friend who wants something small that does not need to do high-end gaming.

This little guy really impressed me! I couldn't belive how well this thing ran. I only wanted it to run my digital score board but it ended up being better than my official computer so I swapped it out. I now use this for work. It looks great, performance is top notch for what it is, and it's basically plug and play and the size makes it to where it fits well anywhere.
